Really? But I recall leeching off mechjbot a while ago.

He probably didn't have it up long enough for the Austnet admins to find it.

It was pretty much an experimental bot anyways, he was mucking around with his serve scripts trying to get them to work. Besides, he only ever intended for channel regulars to use it.

Hmm, no guarantees, but... as long as we don't get pages and pages of !list, and we don't start getting randoms who join purely for leeching purposes, you will probably get away with it =P (not sure how effective Austnet admins are at catching bots, tho)

I should be installing cable under 2 weeks *hopefully*.
i got a couple of spare computers any way.
 so instead of wasting them...i just thought of turning them into leech servers for private memebers.
anyways, we'll see how things go.

cable has a paltry 128kbit upload speed... that does jack all for serving... u dont want to saturate ur upload... but that is a whole different topic. But yeah, keep ur fserves to a low profile, and dont let it respond to !list. just post the triggers here in the forums, so its all good.

use sysreset but if u want to be cool, use UPP. takes brains to do it... do u have brains?
