Let's cut to the chase...
At present, voice actors / seiyuu are gaining popularity even outta Japan. Omigosh, like who is your favourite voice actor of all time?
According to a recent poll on a very popular and recent dating sim / galgame, aka H-Game, in Japan, Kimikiss, the main character, Futami Eriko, voiced by Tanaka Rie (Chii from Chobits, Lacus Clyne from Gundam SEED) has beaten other characters voiced by as popular and celebrated voice actors such as...
Noto Mamiko (Tsukamoto Yakumo from School Rumble)
Nakahara Mai (Tokiha Mai from Mai-HiME)
Kawasumi Ayako (Saber from Fate/Stay Night)
Hirohashi Ryou (Koyuki from Keroro Gunsou)
Ikezawa Haruna (Momoka from keroro Gunsou)
and since Tanaka Rie has undoubtedly won the Newtype annual favourite character poll many times,
Lacus Clyne (2003, 2004, 2005)
Chii (2002)
you can guess who I like best at present.
AND since she has beaten many voice actors so far, there is a chance she might have beaten legends such as Hayashibara Megumi, Hisakawa Aya, Mitsuishi Kotono, Midorikawa Hikaru, Ueda Yuuji and Hiramatsu Akiko.
But then...this is only my opinion anad i STILL like Hayashibara Megumi and Mitsuishi Kotono...I also like new seiyuu such as Noto Mamikoand Kawasumi Ayako too...
So who do YOU like?

For all you lovers of good anime, Fumie Mizusawa will be visiting Australia in the end of January. I cannot disclose for what reasons yet~
She has done some work in Eureka Seven and will take a lead role in a very big new series to be released this year.

My favourite seiyus are:
- Takahiro Sakurai (aka. Cloud Strife, Suzaku Kururugi from Code Geass, Jirou Mochizuki from Black Blood Brothers, Kira Izuru from Bleach, and Yu Kanda from D.Gray-man)
- Shotaru Morikubo (aka. Kadaj from FFVII:AC, Kyouhei in yamato nadeshiko shichi henge and Shikamaru in Naruto)
- Mamoru Miyano (aka. Tamaki in Ouran, Kiba in Wolf's Rain, and Riku in the Kingdom Hearts series xD)
And because you also mentioned voice actors, I have a few english voice actors that do some excellent dubs >D
- Chris Patton (Joshua in Chrno Crusade, most memorable xD)
- Crispin Freeman (Alucard in hellsing, Tsume in Wolf's Rain, Balmung in .hack//SIGN, among others)
- Hilary Haag (Rosette in Chrno Crusade, and generally loud women/girls)
- Joshua Seth (Tai in Digimon [1st series], Shobu in Duel Masters xDDD, and Hige in Wolf's Rain)

My absolute favourite is Morita Masakazu; Kurosaki Ichigo from Bleach - because not only does the guy do great justice to Ichigo's character, but his voice for Hollow-chan rocks too. And... guh, I love all those who do the voices of cutesy characters, like Yachiru from Bleach, and Hani from Ouran.  |
