Considering it doesn't seem like it'll be coming out here, and I haven't managed to find subbed versions of The Last Name...NOOOO I haven't seen it. -_____- I want to, but it's nowhere in sight. -mutters-

I wish I understood Japanese. Now I gotta wait for subtitles that may never come. -mutters- Or maybe I could get my friends at SG to send me the DVD..

It is out here. You can get it in chinese shops with chinese subs. Or if you can't read chinese, some of them got english subs as well.

MatsuKen...(the actor playing L)...-eyes glaze over- And his voice is unexpectedly deep for looking as, well, somewhat-delicate as that...

As of January 10, 2007, the series has been licensed by VIZ Media for United States residents to use "Download-to-Own" and "Download-to-Rent" services while it is still airing in Japan. This move is seen as "significant because it marks the first time a well known Japanese anime property will be made legally available to domestic audiences for download to own while the title still airs on Japanese television".[15] DVDs of the series will also be released; the DVDs will contain an English dubbed audio track, whilst the downloads will use the original Japanese audio track and English subtitles.[16] The DVDs will also contain the Japanese audio track with english subs.[citation needed]
