He he, I know it ain't new, but I've been loving TB... and that's not tuberculosis *coff

Trinity Blood is great stuff... even though I've read that some ppl didn't like how the 'ending' seemed unfinished (guess some anime are like that) but I haven't gotten up there yet... not enuf time unfortunately Sad but hopefully in due course, it'll be like... ke ke ke...

Also, I think the art is beautiful... I guess I'm a stickler for gothy-type / vampire stuff... I liked Hellsing too so it was an interesting concept to see TB was not your average run-of-the-mill vampire flick and not Hellsing either... and of course, the black one is the goody and the white one the baddy (where have I seen this before>>> lol what?)

Oh, along with the anime art, the art by THORES is also excellent!!! Wish I could draw that well...

Neways, if you have news for me concerning TB, or any other anime you like, drop me a line on the forum! Else, enjoy your snack, bedtime story or anime... and sleep tight!!!

TB is beautiful to watch, but in my opinion, they runied the story.  Many people had high expectations for it before it came out...but unfortunately the series did not deliver.  Hehe,i am not going to include spoiler in here.
But for most people who have watched heaps of anime series, TB smells of deja-vue and rip-offs.  For others it would be a good series to watch i guess...

I actually really wish they'd publish the novels in English....

Actually TokyoPop has licensed both the novels and manga - so rejoice!

Suffice to say, i find the artwork for the manga rather 'abstract' for lack of a better term - its still good though and maybe because of that i find it worth getting into Cheesy .

Firstly, before I go into too much detail of 'spoilers' I've read (*I know I shouldn't), I just want to point out how I first came across TB.... it's funny that I don't really recall ever seeing the visuals, I just 'heard' about it from somewhere and was like, 'yeah, I'd like to watch that'... this was about last year....

When I saw the visuals on one of Madman's promo booklets, I fell in love with the art....... and yeh.... I also LOVE the costumes and character design.... which then led to my slightly neurotic obsession into Shibamoto Thores works......

Neways what really got me engrossed was the mysterious air around the Krusnik Abel Nightroad... however, his being a modified human and then trying to understand how these 'chipped' martian-type ppl turn vampiric was a bit weird... I mean, as Abel says... humans eat cows and chickens... vampires prey on humans... but like, why suck blood??? and they're not really 'vampires' like in the folklore... I just think it's strange that such a sci-fi 'drug-thing' could induce such a side-effect... not very realistic

Then there's the biblical connotation... I thought that was cool, but not very original... Tongue

Actually, i think i was pretty lucky back then, cos i don't think Kino usually stocked 'the Sneaker' ... but they did have that one issue when i looked and it was TB on the cover... so i got all excited cos i was a n00b back then~

Oh... and i now i cannot wait to read the novelssss!

Artbooks are really hard to come by...I have never seen any scans of TB artbooks online, but my guess is that it would be pretty awesome; considering who the artist is.  Artbooks are soo expensive >_<

Nono, order it from Amazon.co.jp ... the TB artbook works out cheaper even including the postage...
At kino, it was like $190 for the book, so even with a 20% discount, it woulda been $150. But, at amazon, i think postage and handling is only about $20 (economy... but honestly it didnt take as long as they quoted...)
So yeah... i reckon it's cheaper to order THAT book from amazon cos its so expensive at kino...

It's absolutely gorgeous~
There are some scans here, though, i havent compared it, i'm pretty sure that that is not all the picture in the artbook.

er..... The Sneaker was the magazine that published the original stories. And yeah, it was THORES that did the illustration in these. They also published the Suzumiya HAruhi stories (i just realised that).

I'm thinking that 1098 yen is about $12ish...

The Sneaker does a lot of serialised novels. Just like any good manga related magazine that serialises manga and stuff.

They serialised Astray B novel. For the uninitiated, it is part of the Gundam Seed series.

No wonder I don't know nething bout 'The Sneaker', I've never seen it!! Unfortunately, Kino still hasn't stocked any TB manga Sad but I'm hoping it'll come out soon enuf  :x

Well, other than that, I know there is one excellent site that has a whole bunch of TB stuff... cept I don't remember the URL... err... if anyone's interested, I could try retrace my steps and find it!! All I remember was that there were some stuff you can dl and heaps of info and pics! XD

Btw, you can also dl Drama CDs 1-3! (I think there's 4 or 6 in total... not that I really care since I can't understand it, but that website I mentioned had translations to some of them)

XD... alas, I'm a year behind the craze... at least it's surfacing in Australia, so it's still "ok"... *coff *::blood
