Here are the three designs I came up with right in time for the deadline!
Sorry it's such a rough-cut job, I really wish I could spend more time on making the ultimate rozen-maiden/gothloli items, but sadly I'm so tired and worn out -_- and I still gotta do the manga stuff too...
Neways, please vote for your favourite design! I know the first one is pretty dodgy, but just focus on the costume rather than the doll, please!
Not to sound like a pain, but if they don't look good enough for you, then this is all I have to say to you: DESIGN IT YOURSELF!!! *weep weep

I have another one, drew it this morning cos I couldn't get back to sleep... I think this one is even better than my other one, but meh...
Hope everyone had a great start to the New Year, unlike me who stuffed her elbow cos she slipped at work!

I think the fact that it is not a straight on drawing helps it as well

Thank you Greg, I appreciate that! Actually, I think I like #4 better too, but #2's outfit is pretty cute even though she looks more like a housewife than a maid, and as for #3, she looks like a waitress...
As I was falling asleep last nite, I kinda thought, hm, maybe I really have no idea how to design a french-maid type outfit, so this morning I looked at Keen's original sketch and based my pencial sketch on that, and I must say, she turned out better than I expected!
I left it without shading or colours, cos we can add details later...
Neways, I know it's still early days, but I have so far...

I've noticed that every time I come visit this page, the number of views increases, but the number of votes or comments haven't...
Whether or not you're part of SUANIME, I'd appreciate some feedback, otherwise I feel like a ghost: exposed yet transparent at the same time

Even if you don't have a preference, please feel free to drop in any comments or criticisms... just keep in mind that they are simple pencial sketches, until my people can come to a final decision on final designs, in which more detail (such as colour, shading and extras) will be taken into account.

I didn't know whether I should reply cos I'm not in SUAnime (though I'm hoping this'll change soon. ) -- and the images were horrendously slow to load. But decided to see anyway...didn't read the title of the thread properly at first, so I thought the T-shirts were going to be Maid outfits instead..."Eh, does this club only have girls, or are the guys gonna wear that too?" :lol: 4 looks simple but rather nice in its simplicity. I can see why people choose it. I especially enjoyed the collar and the bow, though I didn't like the skirt so much. 3 looks rather militant in design -- I love the logo on her apron, but the arm seems somewhat out of place. Perhaps it's cos I'm expecting her to stand at attention. I liked the line of the skirt, though. I initially thought 2 was a prom dress, probably because of the up-do of the character, and the rather frilly top half. 1 looks rather strange....somewhat big. So...I'll jump on the bandwagon and say four, too. |
