Hey, thanks for clicking.
I've been watching anime for a few years, since about 2002, so I guess I might be a relatively new starter. Even then, it was just the occasional anime that was good or popular, I was mainly a PC gamer. However, while in the midst of a World of Warcraft addiction, I decided to get a start on learning Japanese, given that I plan on living in Tokyo. I work full time, so I enrolled at TAFE to do some night courses. That was about two years ago.
Problem is, I never realised I'd love it so much! I don't even play games anymore, I pretty much spend all my spare time watching anime, learning and practicing my Japanese, and making
gifs. It's great, I can't think of a better way to learn a language.
Problem is, I've come from this Japanless PC gaming background. No one I know watches anime, and the guys in my classes at TAFE don't really watch anime.
So yeah, here I am, looking for some real life clubs to join. Any recommendations?
p.s. It was my birthday yesterday, 288 months old, so be nice to me =3
