Valentines Day Event @ K-World

I haven't planned any events in a while. So here goes...

As you all know that 14th Febraury is Valentine's Day. Sadly, this day of love somehow landed right smack in the middle of the week. Doi~!! Solution: celebrate it fashionably late.

Depending on the number of attendees, hours will be determined ranging from 2-3 hours. Also, following the Japanese example of celebrating this sweet day, I will be handing out a special but small gift*. :3 If you are interested, please post here before 13th February 2007 as I will not be accepting any later then the date mentioned (even if you beg or add smileys).

I assume this event is open to everyone across the forums so count me in for 3 hours of hardcore karaoking! It should be a rule to only sing slow depressing love songs all night. Now to brush up on my Bon Jovi songs...

I remember I did one of his songs during a family karaoke once...couldn't believe no one knew the song. -_- Though I admit, it does sound kinda weird for me to sing his songs (voice not really suitable) but helllll, it's fun.

Acksherly, K-World doesn't like you to bring your own food in (they sell drinks and snacks). So there's generally not a lot done by way of munchies. I've seen them tolerate the odd bag of chips though.

To clarify some skeptics here, this event is open for all as this is not affiliated with the intervarsity clubs. New or old, single or attached, straight, bi, shonen-ai or shoujo-ai, its a day to celebrate love (or profess your love to someone you had a crush on all these ages). Not only that, just a sweet reminder that there are others close by who you care on this special day. That or you can belt out a heartbreaking tune to ease your ronerinessu.

I've been doing these events either for the hell of it or when a special day arrives, for ages. Since last year, I haven't come around to organise events due to my busy schedule. Now that I have some time off on that weekend, I can do something fun for all. :3 As a thank you gift and mentioned in my first post above, I will definately handout something sweet for the occasion. Finally, as the organiser of this event, K-World will be very stingy if anyone brings their own food and/or drink as they provide them on site. If you do, I will be fined $50 (which is something I do NOT want to pay as most of it goes to fuel, tolls and parking).

So far, only four people wish to attend this event. Come one, come all! Don't miss this event!!!

EDIT: I will soon post the cost for each person to attend once I have the numbers finalise before 13th February 2007.
