Hey all Y'alls.

I know this isn't strictly anime related but it is Nerd related!

For those not in the know, Nerds FC is a show where 14 self confessed nerds are taught to play soccer.  Every week or so we play a match against increasingly difficult opponents.

On February the 17th we'll be facing our toughest challenge yet!  Be there as we take on a team of Ex-Soccerooos!  These guys are serious International Level athletes and if you are a follower of Soccer then I have no doubt that you will recognise many of them.

Details are available here - http://www20.sbs.com.au/nerdsfc/NerdsFC-Series2FinalGame.pdf

If you want to see the site and look at me and the other nerds check out www.nerdsfc.com.au

Feel free to ask questions but I can't give away spoilers, you'll have to watch the series!  If you'd like a sneak peak though there's word that www.theworldgame.com.au has an interview with our coach in the SBS Sports Video section of the site under the title "Nerds II"

So come along if you can make it and support your fellow nerds achieve a new level of awesome!

One of my friends from High School is actually in the team. As such, I'll be at the game wearing a plethora of bell-like objects.

Wow, which one?  Also, why bells? Also, congratulations on your usage of the word Plethora in a sentence.  Very classy Smiley

I tried out for season 2. I got through to the 2nd round of interviews, but not onto the team. I'm tempted to go with alot of my and my brothers friends to practice our yelling, which we do ALOT of at any Central Coast Mariners matches in the A-League.

Oh wow! Michael is such an awesome person Cheesy  Are yuo the guy who was going to have every permutation of MLAKE on a sign?  That might've been someone else.

I don't think there is anyone on the team who does not class as awesome but still...  He's a pretty great guy Smiley

I too shall be there.

Perhaps also with bell like objects on, but more likely with clothes and a suitable sign.

That would be pretty awesome sweet!  Bring Signs!  The more specific they are the better!  For those planning on coming and bringing signs who want to know names to develop clever signs in hopes of having it shown on TV, the following is a list of First Names of people on the team

Adam (Goalie)
Matt
Gareth
Felix
Chris
David
Glenn
Rahul (aka Poodle)
Rocky
Michael
Paddy (aka Goon Warrior)
Thomas (aka Scout)
Richie (Captain)
Ben (Me!)

Now get to work on those signs!

Donny, darling. Even if Drew was on this side of the camp, what makes you think he would go out with an old hag like you?

Someone do a sign that says, "BEN IS SO VERY COOL, SERIOUSLY!" Cheesy

Actually, on 2nd thoughts that would be a little silly, I would love better ideas though!

I would just put a sign saying "Kai is the best" even though it won't have any relevance to the game at all.

EDIT: On a second thought, we'll do "Ben exhausts ftw" instead.

EDIT2: Or we could do "Ben equips epic shoes".
