Natsu-matsuri in Sydney Join in the fun at this year’s JAPANESE SUMMER FESTIVAL celebration in Sydney! The festival will feature taiko drumming sensation TaikOz, the recent recipients of the Group Award for the 2006 Sidney Myer Performing Arts Awards. See a variety of festival-inspired performances including taiko drumming, folk dancing and singing, and karate and calligraphy demonstrations, from over fifteen local community groups. Other highlights include soulful singing by folk singer/guitarist Makoto Tanaka and the infectious street dance moves of international group Dancekool Studio. A wide variety of Japanese festival foods including Colotako’s famous takoyaki (octopus dumplings), will available from 12:30pm onwards. Organisers of the event are encouraging everyone to slip into their geta and kimono and join in the festivities! Regardless, I plan to be there. Thank you .... finally after years and years and years practicing of copy and paste finally paid off (I like to thank my keyboard and mouse, without them, it won't be possible to copy and paste. I also to thank my teacher, showing me the fastest way to copy and paste. Last but not least I would like to thank every one who appreciate my work :twisted: ) I prob be there around 3 pm or something ... good news is, the weather suppose to be good tomorrow ^_^ ... good to know some ppl like to come ... just ring me if you want to know where I am Rin: The bridal exhibition only until 2 pm if I remember correctly (you prob right about the boring part  ) |
