Hi there, I'm Insectice.

I start uni at Macquarie next week, as I'm sure everyone who goes there will, and decided to sign up here to ask if Macquarie Uni's anime club was still active, or if it had died. I work near UTS, so I suppose I could just join their club if they had died.

I'm also a fan of loli. Hyuck hyuck hyuck! Why has Madman not picked up Ichigo Mashimaro? It makes me sad.

Oh yeah, being a complete idiot in terms of IRC, and I mean complete idiot, are there any sites to teach me how to get around IRC? I tried going to chat, but, uh, UserID intimidated me.

I hope to join a club sometime soon!

Welcome, whilst the presence of mq on here isn't that great, I'm fairly certain that the club itself is somewhat active. As for irc, I typed up a mini guide here a while ago, which may help you out a bit

Anyway, nothing prevents you from joining several anime clubs; whatever suits you best. I know some people who joined all the clubs...
