New Forum Emoticons

Heya I'll be posting my progress in this thread I've taken it upon myself to create an emoticon pack especially for this website. Heres what I've got so far (its almost 4am!!!)



I originally went for a unique-ish orange-ish color but I made the blue to try and match the new forum design. Still think orange works better though They are smaller in size also so they will look perfect within text and not disrupt the line spacing.

Question: should I continue with those, or should I try something different, more original (though they will have to be a little bigger and mess up the line spacing of text)?

UPDATE:

I have now made 15 emotes, and a few more are planned: Wink, Hug and Cry - which will all be animated so I'll do them tomorrow. Any suggestions for additional ones or changes to the ones I've already made post here <= thats so ugly!

Those emoticons are awesome  . If you can really bother, you might like to try and animate them.

I've replaced the icons you've made so far. Some from the old set are still there because I have nothing to replace them with yet.

Ok I've just emailed our beloved Trav with all the rest of the emoticons so the set should be complete now, following my orange-peach colored fellow theme. I admit some were rushed but yeh any comments or requests for more emoticons post em here I'll be happy to oblige.

Okay the new emoticons are up now. There's only a small number that aren't there. Incase you want to know more about them:

azn.gif <-- I don't know why it's called that =/ It's meant to be one of ^_^ kind of faces I think

Other than that, I really like your set. The only thing that I don't like is that some of them are a little bit hard to see at my rez. Maybe another set that has higher contrast maybe?

I have a few ideas for some other emoticons, I'll have a crack at making them myself.
