Hi all! This is Wykeen Lum from AnimeUNSW and I just want to do a survey on some particular issues that I have been thinking about.  With your help in digital data, I can collect enough data to properly organise events together with the AnimeUNSW committee so that all of us can enjoy our one-year membership to the fullest.

Your assistance is deeply apreciated and you won't regret helping me because I am doing this for your sake as a member or a soon-to-be member!  In fact, you have nothing to lose by helping me out so why not?

Maybe we could hang out and go out to eat after screenings or something.

I might be able to help out with the website. I can also draw in the anime style.

ok, here goes with surveys. i am Edwin, i am 19 male. and i am pretty much your everyday otaku with really poor ability to choose words and says things as bluntly as possible. about 20% of what i say tend to have unintended effect of umm, provoking ppl unintensionally and sometimes it comes out weird. and really crappy with analogies.

2.  Why did/will you join AnimeUNSW?
no idea, i just like anime.

umm, whatever there is to do. as long as i get to make a gigantic mecha to stomp your neighborhood sometime in my lifetime mwahahaha.

4.  What skills do you think you have that you can use to contribute to the club?
ok, i think i am pretty good at getting things done and on time, as long as i have the machineries to do them with. i am pretty good working with anything metalic. plus i am your present assisatant librarian. (if someone can make me a penpen cotume i will gladly stand at the stall during o week with it on)

5.  What kind of anime genre are you into?
military, mecha, anything with a plot and as little fanservice or fillers as possible

6.  What sort of video games are you into?
Strategy, anything that require me to mobilise a large army and destroy other ppl's backyards, salt the land and pillage the town. (ps. i like clicking on the massacre button in rome total war after i conquer a town)

7.  Have you ever cosplayed and how frequent do you do it?
nope, i dont know how to make costumes and know nobody who can make them for me. i'll gladly cosplay as long as it is not something eccentric. i suppose i can easily cosplay as sagara sousuke since i have a set of J/Gs on me. i just need the boots.

8.  What kind of manga do you read?
a very long time since i read one. but anything with comedy or mecha is good. fantasy is also nice.

Yes. but i suck at character design.

would like to learn how to make one from scratch, but i do used to have a nice collection of patlabor and gundam mecha models.

never done it before, would like to do it sometime.

anything i cook myself, usually chinese or jap. or pizza.

I'm Nathan, male, 19. Very easy-going, but sometimes a bit shy, even when I'm drunk. I sometimes pretend to be a sadistic bastard, but I actually like helping people.

I tend to go to everything I can, but I don't care what types of events we do.

I haven't found an anime I didn't like, and I think last years screeings were a fairly broad spectrum.

mainly RPG and Strategy games(Turn-based or real time),but I play anything.

Only for uni parties, really. I have fond memories of my tetris piece costume at the mid-session last year, and the Cardboard Tube Samurai from Artsweek.

I am Chris, 20 male. I'm fairly shy unless I get to know people fairly well. I got the nickname Squeezy Cow in year 8 because I kept going 'mou' もう～ (english equivalent is 'geez') and also because I was analogous to a stress ball.

2.  Why did/will you join AnimeUNSW?

Because some idiot in year 8 gave me a disc of Nadesico during my finals and i got hooked on anime ever since. Oh, and I like anime and like to meet new people. :p

I have advanced skills in anime and manga drawing. Adept with Photoshop, After Effects and OpenCanvas. I'm alright with HTML.

Anything except emo stuff. Mushishi is an exception.

I like Fencing, Chess, Debating/General chatting & socialising, Computer games, Reading (&Writing), good music (esp. classical and anime), & meditating. I don't drink and like to think of myself as disciplined in the art of ignoring such things as lame TV, advertisements, stupid people and news that doesn't apply to me.

  I love anime! There is so much to appreciate: plot, artistry, music, collaboration of all things. Anime is my artistic vent for a very untalented guy.
