Marathon April 13th URGENT ROOM CHANGE

Hi all!

Sorry for the late notice but we have been moved on our marathon to W5A T1.

This is actually a good thing! W5A is much more easily accessible, is larger and has more comfortable seats!

We will have notices around the room that was previously booked.

For those who still don't know the details for the marathon are as follows:

When: Friday April 13th! Oooooooooooh. Black. Friday. 10 am - 6pm
Where: W6B 320; Macquarie University
We are currently hoping to have the room changed but if this is the case there will be posters around the uni and a campus map is located here, if your not sure of room location:

What: We're currently planning out horror/darker themed anime series to be shown shown.

What we will be showing is independent / beginning arcs, along side movies that can be watched with no background knowledge of the series, we will be screening based on arcs, so we guarantee no cliff-hangers with the anime series that we show. ^_^

What we are showing is still up for discussion but series suggested include:
First arc of:
Tokyo Majin Gakuen, Tempou Ayashi, Ghost Hunt, D.Grayman, Deathnote, Naruto Shippuden

//Going What? Naruto isn't scary?! This is the long awaited second series of Naruto. Hurrah for no more fillers. Although, familiarity with the original Naruto series is a bonus, this series does reintroduce the characters so newcomers can feel comfortable. This is a chance to see what the new series about before the long wait with loans library.

Second arc of:
Higurashi! This can be watched independently from the first, which we screened in a marathon last year. People were rooted to their seats. o.o;

Movies:
Deathnote liveaction

Feel free to also make suggestions of anime arcs that you would like to have shown - please email the name of the series and the episodes numbers in that arc to [4budon @ gmail.com].

There is the possibility of a room change, if we receive enough confirmations. Please contact [4budon @ gmail dot com ] if you are planning on coming! The more confirmations we receive the better our chances at upgrading the room!

The more the merrier this is open to all to join in and watch!

Ive seen the 1st naruto..  do they make any references to any other 1st Naruto seasons ? i red some summary.. sounds good!! heheh ..

While familiararity with the first series of Naruto is a bonus, it is not a necessity since they do reintroduce all of the characters and the two series don't connect that well. D:

So you can watch the second series without having seen the first, just fine.

Go for your life I haven't heard anything about a shortage of attendees, but if you want to bring people along, then sure.

I dunno, Bakuretsu Tenshi was pretty dodgy and you certainly wouldn't want to watch that by yourself....


But yes, bring friends! We're not showing anything above a MA rating... And I don't think there's anything worse than M rated in there really.

second naruto so far is awesome
its set 3 years after ep 135 (end of first arc and before fillers started)
they've grown heaps, i wont spoil it but ill say the first thing they have to do is take those two bells off kakashi

I realised after thinking about it during work that Jo and Amy are flat as, so that would leave much of the cleavage to Meg and Sei.

And if you thought Bakuten was bad, then I dare you to watch Eiken - you'd have a field trip with that one
