yeah he said earlier that "you guys messed with the system, so you guys stuffed up the chem lecture for 250 students" lol blaming us for his incompetence...

and yeah, he came in, turned on the lights and started playing with his chem prac stuff. Like making things light up and setting things up, as if we weren't there

If the club still pays cash for the rooms, then complain ahead. You paid for the full hour and no tool of a lecturer should mess with your booking.

All you guys do is plug into the AV system and use electricity...that's not messing with the system. If he really thinks you guys messed with the AV system and that it interferes with his ability to present crappy Powerpoint slideshows, get him to get the AV guys in to take a look.

whoa that sucks... I never had anything happen like that in all the years I helped run screenings O_o;

Some lecturers would just end up watching too if they got there that early ^^; Even when we ran late people still didn't get pissed o_o (except maybe once but they were cool about it).

I would have turned the lights off again and told the guy to bugger off -_- you have as much right to use the room as him and a booking is a booking (were any students of his even there? =_=;). Lecturer != superior. Tell him if he has issues with the system to take it up with AV. And to fix the time on his watch =p

The club may not be paying for the room, but if SUAnime has booked the theatre, and SUAnime is not overstaying its time in the classroom, then it should be well within the clubs ability to say "Sorry, you are going to have to leave, we have booked this room, for this time, and you are disrupting our event, feel free to come back when we have left."

And if he refuses to do so, raise a complained with the booking office, and the C&S office.

He came in at the start as well didn't he? The guys just a fucking arsehole, think about it. If we really messed up the "system" which he must be referring to the projector system then WHY THE FUCK did he go and get his little science project out (the one with the glowing light thing) and start playing with that during our screening? Does that have something to do with checking the system? NO IT FUCKING DOESN'T!!! It doesn't even make sense. And does he realise that the lecture starts at 2:05? He has 10mins AFTER anime finishes to fix his stuff before his lecture even begins. There is NO EXCUSE for coming into our room at 1:40, turning the lights on and playing with his gay project.

Lets book the lecture room right after his class, then come in 15mins before it ends, turn off the lights and put anime on as loud as possible!! Then be like "oh sorry, u stuffed up the "system" and messed up a screening for 50 angry SUANIME members!" or...we could lock him in the room and set fire to it!!!  I know what it'd prefer! Hmm I wonder if theres anyway you could make that look like an accident...?

But what i REALLY want to know is why Keen didnt kung fu his arse? we were all waiting for it

Yes, we have a new room.  Although our technology and intellect far surpasses such a peon, wasting energy on such a chump will only bring us unneeded pain and frustration.
