Madman announces "Tales from Earthsea" Australian Theatrical Release
Madman Cinema has just announced the dates for the Australian Theaterical Release of "Tales from Earthsea". The dates are as follows.
Brisbane: April 26 – May 6 @ Dendy George St
Sydney: May 17-27 @ Dendy Newtown
Melbourne: May 31 – June 11 @ Kino Dendy
Adelaide: June 14 – 24 @ Palace Nova Eastend
Perth: June 28 – July 8 @ Luna Leederville

I'm still looking for more information - if anyone know - can you let me know.

Umm, you do realise that the Goro Moyozaki whose film is mentioned in the article, is in fact, Goro Miyazaki from Studio Ghibli, and so it was talking about the Ghibli film right?

There is a liveaction movie based on the same story that was apparently so bad that Ursula went and slammed it online. She was not happy at all.

On group event. AnimeMQ is still speaking with Newtown but seems likely.

(like I said, I was referring to a series shown over 10 years ago, i think, which was totally against the book and disliked by just about everyone)

s19823 would you guys be interested in combining the event? That way we would get closer to the required number of people for the discount group screening. Take a look at our sticky thread in AnimeMQ forum. It wouldn't be that hard to combine since the seasons short anyway.
