Depends on what you mean by 'good', as both meat and vegetables are good for you.

Kai speaks the truth! Its the cycle of life. We eat the animals who eat the plants who eat our waste! We cant eat the vegetables because then there would be no vegetables for the animals to eat and so they would die meaning we'd have no meat, so we'd die and then the plants would die and then Haruhi Suzumiya would have to remake the world AGAIN!  OH NOES!

What Smorry is trying to say is that eating vegetables is like eating our own feces.

Hmm...that last comment was quite funny...but we're supposed to be omnivorous. We eat both meat and vegetables.
Smorry, plants technically don't 'eat'. They absorb the molecular compounds produced as a byproduct of the decomposition of waste.

The venus fly trap catches its prey, then it releases digestive juices to break down the prey into simple checimals, in which it absorbs into the main body of the plant.

Hmm...similar, but not quite. The whole digestive process is the same, but people just refer 'eating' to the physical breakdown of a substance, rather than the chemical processes. (That is, physically breaking it down to smaller pieces before it gets digested.)
