Seriously, it's at our uni, at the only place I like more than the room we have screenings in, but we aren't an affiliate and we don't have a stall there. WTF?

Edit: It seems we can get tickets through our club, despite not being on the list for either sponsorship or stalls. Now I'm curious... does the arc sponsorship include us?

This space will contain the Roundhouse bingo call for my current spiral power, any time I can be bothered changing it: 16: Adam Spencer's favourite number.

Hi Nathan!

The relationship between AnimeUNSW & SMASH has been strained by a lot of misplaced internal diplomacy, and in its initial stage, a conflict of interest due to SMASH's agenda when it first formed. Hence, as a result, AnimeUNSW is not formally affiliated (in the legal sense of the word) with SMASH, but in the interest of its members and the harmony of the local anime community, we have formally adopted a neutral stance with SMASH.

I will have to abstain from commenting about ARC's involvement until I touch base with a few of the board members and about ticket sales because AnimeUNSW is currently completely in the dark about that.

SMASH's relationship with the ARC is via COFA, and not via AnimeUNSW.

And the ticket sales? http://www.smash.org.au/tickets.html shows us there for people pre-ordering.

This is something Bogdan or SMASH will have to answer to because as far as AnimeUNSW is concerned, we have not been informed or been given tickets to sell.

Yeah, I've seen that and while it's technically incorrect, you CAN order tickets from me, rather than the club. Of course, this is all once they get around to giving me some tickets/details/whatever.

I should be at most AUNSW events, so grab me then (or ambush me at some other time) and I'll see if I can set you up.
