I know I'm somewhat late with this challenge, but what the hell. This week's challenge is Sithboy's Hero Machine Challange! Rules for this comp are simple. Create your own super hero using HeroMachine, grab a screen cap of it, and post it here. This challenge will run through to next Friday, ending at 9:30pm. You can enter as many heroes as you want (those with Photochop skills may submit a 'Super Team' group shot if they wish. Winner will be selected by voting, same as last challenge. SO VOTE DAMMIT!

Well, he's a priest with guns. While I'm not sure if that deposits him in superhero country, the Punisher was a dude with PTS and guns, and he was considered a superhero, so what the hell. I initially had him called Father Parabellum, but that's horrible... hence I went with it anyway: I've got a whole bunch of other ones, but unfortunately the only one that even vaguely resembles a superhero is this one. That or maybe my Hellboy ripoff...EDIT: MOAR 1st: Snappy McWhore - one of the only weaknesses that Batman has is that try as he may, he just can't keep his pants on. Snappy takes full advantage of this weakness, able to quickly incapacitate the otherwise unkillable hero - albeit at the cost of some slight friction burn in places - without even releasing all of her cosmic whore powers. Likes to whip people, stabbing them in the eyes is also a pastime of hers 2nd: {He lacks a name...} strides from the wilderness beyond human cities, from the origins of dark tales involving shadowy forms and dark sacrifices. His hands glow with a devil-given power, his shiny staff a lure for the unwitting so that they may try to steal it off him to make a buck. A mere touch is enough for him to incinerate a regular human, and with an offering of blood, he can magnify his powers to the extent where entire city blocks are engulfed in ash. It is a small comfort that the amount of blood required to commit such a widespread act of destruction nears that of an entire city block. 3rd: {He also lacks a name...} was born to circumstances that most people would describe as... intriguing. Emerging from a volcano several hundred years dormant, where he had lain as a foetal boulder, {He also lacks a name...} accidentally caused the destruction of several tribal communities when they attempted to slay him, directly causing the destruction of several more when learning to harness his pyrokinetic gifts, and indirectly destroying the last few in the region in mortal combat against a young black dragon that had surfaced some years earlier, finally emerging the victor, ripping the wyrm's shattered spine from its corpse and holding it up with a howl. He wears the extracted teeth of the defeated dragon around his neck, and soon after his victory discovered a brood of eggs in a nearby mountain. The eggs hatched just as he found them, and he watched in quiet awe as the newborn dragons proceeded to attack each other until one remained. It looked to him, and he found some form of kinship in its fiery gaze. Whether it was the chain of teeth or a similar feeling of kinship, the newborn whelp quickly became attached to the mysterious demon in front of it. Once he had nurtured both himself and his companion back to health, he set off on a journey to discover the truth about himself.

Thought begets heresy. Heresy begets retribution. Retribution begets a cheap funeral. Such is the sad state of the Inquisition's bank account... Click for teh LJ

The Pulp Seven - Seven heroes and heroines in the pulp magazine tradition. Don't read any further if you can't stand super cheeziness Immelman Jane - The captain of the BlueWings, a freelance aerial brigade that always seems to swoop in on trouble. Angrad the Barbarian - Hailing from a land of mountain and snow, Angrad fights to free his people from the oppression of a manic warlord. The Midnight Avenger - A masked detective that tackles the toughest cases and villains in the streets of New York city. (And yes, his appearance is basically a Spirit knockoff ) Zandra the Magnificent - Renowned worldwide, her magic performances dazzle and amaze the masses but little do they know that not all her acts are mere slight of hand and clever trickery. Max Carter - Intergalactic traveler and adventurer, Max Carter has been to the furthest corners of the universe, always keeping one step ahead of his rival Doc Gordon. The Emerald Cowl - Sporting two .45 pistols, this mysterious vigilante comes and goes like a shadow, leaving only bullet riddled corpses and the stench of vengeful justice in his wake. Jungle Princess Sharia - Leaving behind the decadence and ego-filled world of the British colonialists, Sharia renounced her former life and joined the animals of the African jungle. Now regarded as their princess, she protects the jungle and the animals from all those who dare harm it.
