Yes, since year 9. Year 9 and 10 was 'beginners', 11 and 12 was 'continuers'. I was the only one in my year doing it so I had to do it by distance education...you know, having the work/tapes mailed to me, do the work, mail it back, get it marked, have it mailed back to see how i went, converse with my teacher via the phone, meet up with the other students once a term... ;w; Some people say distance was really hard but...I guess I do better learning that way, I dont know. Although as a result my speaking skills kinda suck bad. TwT

Don't worry about speaking.  It's like at the HSC, all the Japanese students are Japanese or Korean so you just kind of get beaten by them in the speaking test :3

But yeah, overall you really don't get much chance to speak Japanese at all so everyone's kind of in the same boat.

Nickname: (and why you're called by your nickname)[/b]: Chose Byakuya as my username 'cause he's one of my favourite characters at the moment. But otherwise my nickname is "Lex", because people felt like shortening Lexie even further...
Studying/Year: Combined degree of Commerce and Biomedical Engineering. I'm a first year, i.e. I'm a noob hahaha

Most beautiful anime character: Kuchiki Byakuya (Bleach), Kanda (D.gray-man), Yunoki Azuma (La Corda D'oro), Shi Ryuki (Saiunkoku Monogatari), Sesshoumaru (Inuyasha), Tamaki (Ouran) lol they're all guys and I could keep going with the guys and start with the girls but I should stop
Most emo anime character: If by emo we mean wallowing-in-self-pity-life-hating-oh-my-God-I-hate-the-world-and-the-world-hates-me-everyone-should-die *slash wrists* I'd say Light from Death Note.
