New Season and New Fun

The new Spring season brings a lot of new fun from Macross to Code Geass. Some more of course.

Just three quick questions:

1. What will you be watching this season?
2. Where is the last part of Gundam 00?
last and most important....
3. Whats up with Naruto is it going to fillers or will it be continuing, does any one know im concerned what will happen to my Fridays, either watch Naruto or sleep.

1.) really not sure, from the calender, xxxHOLiC: Kei , Druaga no To: the Aegis of Uruk, Code Geass Hangyaku no Lelouch R2, Blassreiter ,  Nabari no Ou, Real Drive, maybe crystal blaze. I'll keeping an eye out for those series.
I still want to see, Kaiji, Zetsubo Sensei and Gunglinger girls 2 from this season >< oh and always gintama, the subs are only a year behind rofl.

2.) Next season will be next semester, rofl NO DON'T FALL INTO THE GUNDAM STEREOTYPE FORMULA, DAMN YOU DAMN YOU, hopefully the season preview was a bit of a joke lol. First season totally kicked ass. Hopefully I'll be able to add it on thursday.

3.) Naruto Shippuden, is technically not in fillers atm.... lol, last ep was reasonable but the one before that choked. Promisingly they have upgraded to HD for Naruto and last ep was back up to par on animation, looks promising, looks like they didn't completely fudge up and give away the whole plot of the next season in the first ep rofl.  Looks promising. Could be really cool. Hopefully they won't keep fudging up the pacing.

Currently Shipuuden is up to episdeo 54.. I prolly need to add 25-50. I think cable tv is nearly finished the first series, but you mentioned you watched it on fridays so I am assuming you are watching the new season.

i concur for the gundam 00, but for naruto im scared if fillers do come up, cause of the few little clips of some aztec ninja things better not detour.

But im a fan of the d.c. yes i know it was crap ibut i stick by it, ill be mainly watching almost all of these, this spring looks pretty good.

My early warning system was detecting a potential bishounen vibe from Busgamer, I suppose that confirms it.

QEM, you might be interested in Hatenkou Yugi, I've given up the series due to increasing Yaoi danger. Luckily I stopped watching the series before anything disturbing happened. Technically its not that bad, I got to episode 8, whereas with Tactics I got 5 minutes into the first episode before deleting it lol.

The male faces weren't completely pointy

Secondary warnings were given;
Shoujo series lighting, eg purple lighting tint
Single female with multiple male characters

Conditional warning was upgraded with the introduction of a new male character;

Primary course of action: Discontinue watching series

They do have very very pointy faces in Busgamer, but... If there is actual yaoi in the series I'll be surprised.

It's the same mangaka as Saiyuki - busgamer is this one volume thing and my favourites of her works even though it's... like... total cliff hanger. *face palm* The mangaka's been sick off and on, so... I'm hoping this means it will get more.

P.S. Towers of draksdkjflssomething, is totally not bish material so far, and also involved tentacle molestation for the female character. ;>.> I do watch other stuff you know.

yeah alright, i'll throw it on my portable HD, and bring it to the lan.

I saw a new anime, Vampire Knight... just from the picture on Anidb.net, their faces are so pointy it will poke an eye out, but i think it will just be a zombie loan clone.

I've seen a shoujo anime with tentacles, that series confused the heck out of me. Romance, Romance, Magical girl, tentacle monster?! 
That series seemed innocent but below the surface it was fightfully disturbing, yuri, necro, teacher/student, pedofila and incest... and it was shoujo series?! wtf. Well I've got a degree in psychology so its not that hard to understand, hahaha.

If there are shoujo yuri series... does that mean there are shounen yaoi series

I've been finding it difficult to choose a title from the Loans library. The black folder (with pictures and synopsis) helps, but it doesn't reflect all the titles that are available for loan.

Three weeks ago I borrowed Tactical Roar which had too much fan service for my liking. Today I borrowed Tactics and I'm finding the yaoi tendencies unappealing.

Can someone please recommend a couple of titles which does not have fan service or yaoi elements? I like all things sci-fi, mecha, samurai, ninja... and cute fuzzy creatures.  It would also be helpful if someone could list what titles I should avoid. Thanks!

Sci-fi; Darker than black

I don't have the list so i am not sure whats still in the library atm. Afro Samurai isn't in the library but its pretty much got sci-fi, mecha, samurai, ninja.

Gintama has sci-fi, mecha, samurai, ninja... and cute fuzzy animals. its pretty hard to find what Gintama doesn't have. Its a pretty good comedy.

 - Baccano

It's supposed to be funny, but I didn't laugh, still it was good. 8/10?

 - Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

A.F.K. is afk, and Anonymous may be legion, but they sure are slow subbers.

Dropped:

Shigurui: I never thought I would ever say this about an anime, but this is too graphic for me. This implies that it is good, but..

Currently Planning to Follow

Geass R2: well, that's a given. It will probably not do anything interesting, but it will be fun.

Everything else is too early to call.

Macross, Tower of Drauga (now on Youtube, legally. No, really. Not joking there.), Vampire Knight, Special A, Allison & Lillia look like they may be worth watching, but don't look like they'll do anything interesting.

Kurenai, Soul Eater look like they will be boring.

which begs the question, what non-anime stuff is worth watching...



Oh, and my graduation ceremony is on thursday, 17th of April afternoon session, registration 12:30 - 1:30pm presumably, the ceremony starts 2pm. Apparently I get this Vice Chancellors Commendation for Academic Excellence, but I've never heard of such an award and there's no information on the mq website that I can find, anyone know what that is about?
