Hey guys,

I’m sure most of you have noticed the disappearance of a certain thread recently. I was informed that inappropriate material had been posted up or linked to in that thread. These included links to pornographic or gory contents which are considered to be 18+. Please be mindful that we have members under the age of 18 attending these forums so it is unsuitable for explicit materials to be posted here, even if they are posted under the hide or link function.

We are a non-profit organisation who have affiliation with, and are sponsored by legal companies. It is an obligation for us to abide by copyright rules and regulations. There are to be no links to fan-subbed materials or other forms of downloads, regardless of whether they are licensed or not.

It is the AnimeUNSW moderators and administrators’ duty to moderate the AnimeUNSW section of the forum. I am sad to see that moderators of other boards had to inform us that we are not doing our jobs properly. Furthermore, it is more disappointing to see that some of our moderators were participants in this ordeal and did not address the issue when our members asked them whether the topics were appropriate or not.

Due to these reasons, the previous thread had been moved to the Administration – Moderators section of the forum. This thread shall replace the other one, however all users who post here are to abide by the forum rules, located here:

Please note that these rules apply to the whole of AnimeSydney and not just AnimeUNSW. So long as you stick to them, no penalties shall be imposed.

my friend went with a big group of cosplayers who did disney princesses on the saturday, she was aladdin LOL
i felt sorry for the girl who did jasmin coz it was basically a blue boob tube and a skirt and she was probably freezing cold

it looked like it was mostly scifi and fantasy ... not all that much anime


@yami ~ i bought Fuyu no Semi special edition! it's gorgeous and came with a large version of the manga

WHAT?! REALLY?! WHERE?! How much did it cost?! I saw some screencaps, and apparently they retouched some scenes, joined the 3 ovas together and added some more 'stuff' in. Is it true? ^__________^

Got it from Amazon.jp for 7400yen ... got it when it said there was only 5 left in stock - it's now back to 8500yen Haven't seen it yet coz got one last stupid exam tomorrow and didn't wanna get distracted doing a comparison to the normal 3 episode release The package looks fantastic though! If you're a member of the Youka Nitta lj comm then you can see the pics i uploaded

Yen -> Dollar is like, take 2 zeros off LOL So its about $85 now (not including postage though, which is gonna be $23 >_<) ... Don't think they accept anything other than credit card

Westpac have these things called "Mastercard gift cards" aka credit card as a gift card. You can only put money on it once (up to $800) and it has the usual expiry date and stuff.

When you are filling out the credit card address at an online shop, I think you can use any address. The card has a special Cardholder name which is on the card. I have used it to buy numerous things before with great success.
