i failed my maths yesterday..... no hope of getting a pass i rckn

on a better note, the Children of Bodom concert was grreeaaaaat
1.5 hours of Death Metal suport bands (inc. breaks for set up etc) - first bands vocals were absolutely brutal, with a few high pitched screams akin to Cradle of Filth's lead vocalist, which were orgasmic. Second band was good too; very much like Cannibal Corpse *nods*. They got the crowd going heaps too, twas awesome, although the lead guitarist wasnt turned up enough, so when he got his solo on a slower song it was barely audible

and then, omfg, children of bodom came out! played the songs i hoped for (Needled 24/7, Hate Crew Deathroll, Bodom After Midnight, Sixpounder etc). OMG when they started playing the intro riff for Needled 24/7 the crowd went freaking nuts! (its my fav song too, so i was aiding in the headbanging/general all-round noise/chaos making). They asked for the devil horns in the air, and seriously, was like the coolest thing ive seen; entire crowd had their hands in the air... seriously wish i couldve taken a photo of that.
and hahaha, while between songs at one point, and Alexi (lead singer) was taking a swig from his beer, the keyboardist started to play 'umbrella... ella... ella' (lol idk the name of the song... probly umbrella

) - then the drummer starts playing along. Alexi's like, "wtf is this shit", but then shakes his head and starts singing the song in his vocal style... fucking brilliant (listen to their
Oops I Did It Again Cover - i love it)
so yeh, Melodic Death Metal is brilliant... CoB is like my favourite band (right up there with Cradle of Filth, Kreator and Maximum the Hormone... although these 3 are diff. genres)
