I hope Tiff doesn't mind, I edited the first post to reflect that we're CANCELLING Wednesday screenings if turnout is low, and the Friday ones are ending after week three, not four.

Why? Because of low attendance. And also because our screenings man isn't free, so...yeah.

Err, I just asked Danny, and he hasn't confirmed yet about cancelling Wednesday... (sorry Jenn)

Just thot I let everyone know that we'll still be holding Wednesday's screenings for the next week or two, but if turnout is just as bad, then we will officially cancel it

Ah speaking about the anime screenings. I'm pretty upset with the large no.s of eager geeks Architecture students that barges in during the screenings at the Architecture Theater 1 and disturbs a few fellow suanime members by nagging the shit (pardon my French) outta them in asking stupid questions eg "Is this a lecture?", "Is there a lecture on today?", "What's this about?", "What is this?" (what kind of idiot would think that anime would be a lecture?! Puh-lease!). It's plain rude and bloody annoying. Not to mention that they talk so loudly in Mandarin to each other and they move around and fidget and block my sight of the screen with their fat arses!! That's even more rude and intolerable!

There was even this freak staring at me when I was talking to Jenn. Like what the hell!?

I swear on Thursday I was about to yell and swear at those people, that would even make the toughest sailor on the sea cower in a corner of a wall. I was so annoyed that day. I swear I would've chucked someone out of the theater!


Is there anyway we can solve this dilemma? Or in a more blunt question... Is there a way to kick those stupid ignorant selfish people OUT of the theater?

It happens during the first few weeks, but you have to get some intimidating dude to just kindly ask them to leave because it's not a lecture yet.

And tell them to wait outside, not inside.

Hrm, we'll have to decide how we'll be doing this with our somewhat limited staff numbers... I'm pretty much AWOL because of other assessments, not that I'd be much help since I'm not physically intimidating (I'll just scream their ears off if they really bug me) >_> but I think Paul and Lawrence did a good job last time ^^

I was in charge on Thurs, and I decided to let them in so that I could announce that we WON'T let them in in future at the end of it. So I can tell 50 of them at one go instead of saying it 50 times.

Paul helped with that today anyway, and I believe he'll be around Thurs as well. Thanks Paul.

And they aren't architecture students...I believe they're finance students or something. I do understand that it's annoying, but like I said a few times, it's only just for that once so I can tell them all at one go. It really doesn't help if you appear annoyed in front of them either. -wry- Like...if they were preparing to leave, I do believe it confuses people. Ah well, maybe it's a matter of preference...
