Is there any good anime stores in the city or around sydney that have a big selection of dvds and stuff? Like a bigger range than jb-hi and such..? Thanks !! Cheesy

u could always check the chinese stores in china town... they have some collections of anime dvd's.

but they might either be subbed in chinese or dubbed in chinese so u need to check it carefully

They could be fake too.

The biggest places to get them in Sydney are probably JB-HiFi or Kinokuniya.

Games Infinity MIGHT have them.  But if they do, it'd be at exuberant prices.  Otherwise, your best bet are online retailers like Tamarket.  Transreality also sell them but not sure if they have a site or not.  IIRC, Kino does not sell music CDs.

If you go into those dodgy asian model shops though (I think most of them are closed now ie. Astro Hobby) they're probably fakes from Taiwan.

highly suggest u go to JB hifi since they sell a whole range and are very cheap too

If you have a Kino card and want to buy box sets, it might be cheaper than JB.  I'm pretty sure the Kino card works with DVDs now.

If you are after cds and other more limited items, shopping online is your only option.
