JAUWANIAN MIXTAPE THREAD.

Ok Jauwans. Time to show off how cool you all are and gain some indie cred.

It's mixtape time. Here's how its going to go.

1. If you want to be involved post as such.
2. In your "me too" post, include a theme suggestion.
3. The shuffling and assignment of themes.
4. The shuffling and assignment of people to whom your mix  is sent.
5. The putting together and fabrication of your mix.

Now for some fun rules regarding mixes:
- Try to avoid using multiple songs from the one artist, I mean, sure Nightwish are great*, but we want to know more than about how every song they've ever written is related to "beef jerky**"
- The more "underground" you are the more indie you are.
- The more you use catchy 80's/90's pop songs the more ironic and thus indie you are.
- Keep to the theme. After mixes are swapped you can justify your song selection.
- Tape is fucking awesome. Bonus points if you use a real cassette tape.(They still sell them in this $2 shop in Parra).
- TRACK ORDER IS IMPORTANT. Don't just chuck it together, mixes, like spice, must flow.
- Album art is awesome, so are handmade cases.(Bonus indie cred once more.)
- Rickrolling is fun. But no. Just no.
- tracklisting is secret

Recommended Viewing/Reading:
High Fidelity(theres a John Cusack film(one of jack black's first appearances, or a book)
The book Thurston Moore wrote about mixtapes.
