@Danny

did u watch the terrible group's subs [have been in trouble for mentioning specific names before] for seto to finish off the series - because ive really wanted to see the show, but lack of quality subs annoys me. is it worth my getting the aforementioned group's subs irrespective?

have u seen puni puni poemy??? if u liked excel that much, u'll love it. imo PPP > excel (have watched PPP 3 times at least Tongue)

also - i dont understand how people can like cowboy bebop (i gave it a 4) - it ranks only slightly above Kokoro Library (3/10) and the Green Green OVA (3.5/10) [not erolutions, the absolutely terrible ova]....
...but i spose no1 understands me xP

as for what ive seen.... well.... ive been watching almost nothing except for One Piece xDDD am presently up to episode 243 (water 7 arc) and look forward to watching moar!!!
also have been watching the odd episode of keroro gunsou here n there to break up the pace

Yes... Seto no Hanayome did end in the last 4 episodes with terrible subs.... that includes the OVA as well -__-; but the first 20 eps i got were really good subs.

Yep I saw PPP.... and dam.... i was majorly wtfed at the randomness lol... it was very funny though xD

Cowboy Bebop is for people who like action that involves the slight investigation stuff... I mean, I loved City Hunter (the really old episodes, not Angel Heart *i haven't seen angel heart yet... only have chinese subs for it T-T*) and it sorta did remind me of it, as in the comparison with Spike and Ryo Saeba through the way they solve things (excluding Ryo Saeba's pevertedness lol). I dunno how to explain it but cowboy bebop definately deserves a high spot in my book xD

Your idea of funny is kind of morbid there...

Well, Will *is* a nut job.

well not really, i also find it kinda interesting and cute.

For the Yuri Fans out there here are a few more stuff

ICE ~ a sci-fi anime based on post apocaliptic theme with underlaying theme of genetic modification and war between a doomsday terrorist cultist and militaristic government. whilst the plot has promise there are far too many philosophical themes and idea to make it an enjoyable piece to enjoy but that is simply my opinion. may i also add though, very cool looking bikes.    score: 7.5

Maria Sama ga Miteru (Marimite)
~ slice of life with yuri theme and highschool girls. beautiful artworks, some light comedy and lots of girl on girl romance. the first two season is enjoyable, the third however begins to feel dragging with the same recuring drama. enjoyable if watched in short segments.    score: 8.1

Simoun ~ whilst the story line lacks body and that fleshy conflicts of other anime this anime may feel like it is there to act as a yuri tease. the plot sesaw up and down in quality but the good parts are really worth watching and the ending is very very dissapointing. on the upside it has a very nostalgic artwork. for people who are not used to ancient texts and terminologies its difficult to understand as more than half the concepts used in this anime is derived from either extinct or close to extinct cultures, texts, terminologies and legends. it takes a while to understand the jargons.    score: 7.6

Candy boy ~ a very cute and funny take on Yuri and slice of life. it is cut into short 5-10 minutes pieces with everything wonderfully laid out. very entertaining.   score: 8.5

Blue Drop ~ this is a very nice yuri anime with both action and drama. and a race of all female human aliens. while the anime is quite well made and both the artwork and plot is quite well done and may i also add, cool spacehips. the ending episodes however is wanting with a very very and may I add VERY corny take on Joan of Arc.  score: 8.9

Miyuki chan in Wonderland ~ funny take on the alice in wonderland story, the style is steroetypical of that of japanese retelling of western stories. The plot may leave audience divided over this piece and leaves a very uncomfortable feeling with the ending, if not the whole plot.   score: 6.3

Burst Angel ~ a very nice action based yuri anime. definitely worth watching.   score: 8.3

Mnemosyne ~ quite an interesting anime with decent plot and artwork. however there is something that is quite disconcerting to me that i still cannot put my finger on other than the violence which i find entertaining in any movies.   score: 8.7

Ultimate Girls ~ to sum it up, its yuri and ecchi with plenty of fanservice mixed into the bake before being dished out as an overloaded series of panty flash and whatever else one may expect from a fanservice movie. the only redeeming aspect that prevents this sunken ship from being a disaster is the artwork which is cute at best and the very stereotypical comedy. I hated this piece however some people's opinion may differ.    score: 3

I finished watching Hana Kimi Jap live action. I thought it was alright...actors cant really act...

my favorite was Kayashima because he could actually act...and his character was awesomely cute.

Finished a bunch since last i posted:

Marimite 2: Liked this one a lot more than the first one - interesting plot twists... not so much *starry-eyed* "onee-sama" *glomps*. The outtakes were fair cool too haha. But yes, the sinister atmosphere that developed towards the end was awesome!!! Didn't like how long they spent on sending off the 3rd years episode-wise... but meh.
8/10

Egao: Was cute and all, and uplifting etc etc. However, theres just not enough substance to warrant a particularly good vote Tongue I thought the hamster thing was cute tho xP
5.5/10

One Piece Movie 4 (Dead End no Bouken): Liked this one the best so far - had a really cinematic feel to it, and delivered true to the One Piece feel. Characters interacted well and mmm - was what one would expect from a One Piece-related showing. As a stand-alone thing though, it pales in comparison to the series (which i have been avidly trying to get up to date with as fast as my monthly quota lets me Tongue)
7.5/10

One Piece Movie 5 (Cursed Sacred Sword): Didn't find anything particularly brilliant about this one - was the same, but didnt hold the same interest that the other movies have. Maybe it was because i was rly tired when i started and found myself with drooping eyelids at a couple points xDD Twas still ok, but mmm not as good as the others
6.5/10

One Piece Movie 6 (Omatsuri Danshaku to Himitsu no Shima): This one was ok - kept me entertained for the duration, and was kewl n all that etc etc. same as the others Tongue
7/10

Hajime no Ippo - Chamion Road: When I found out there was a new HnI series airing i was like 'omfg must watch!!!'  .... only to find out there's a special and ova in between! So i watched this one, and it was gooood to get my HnI fix again. Watched it intently the entire time - held true to the original imo; ippo's character was the same, and the match was carried out interestingly, although i could've picked the outcome even before i started it Tongue
<3 my ippo
9.5/10

Blood+: Had this one sitting on my HDD from like right at the start of my anime watching "career", so decided it was about time to get watching.... on my ipod to and from work in the mornings/evenings Tongue Was quite interesting Smiley i was a bit worried after the first couple episodes, which were good, but then it slowed down for a bit... hadn't immersed myself in the world enough for it to drop pace yet. However, it picked back up, and the story moved along nicely without any real "omfg power level up tiem!!1!!" ala dbz Tongue semi-realistic zombie-esque show (as realistic as a zombie-esque show can get of course haha)
8.5/10

Seto no Hanayome: I rly quite liked this show - im always skeptical about starting comedy-related anime, and especially this one, as i had heard good things about it Tongue i had heard the same about slayers.... <_<
but anyway, this was brilliant!!! the facial distortions, the characters themselves, "masa-san" *gleaming eyes* (and then San's reference to it later in the show too...!!!). Episode 20 was seriously one of the best episodes i've seen in a while - laughed a lot throughout the episode. Lunar's dad is awesome too xDDD but mmm - thoroughly enjoyed this ^_^
9/10

Slayers Excellent: More of the same.... which is to say... it wasnt all that good =.= the best part about this ova is that it was only 3 episodes long.... although naga was a nice breath of fresh air compared to lina constantly whining at gourry or however you spell his name Tongue
4.75/10

School Rumble: Ichi Gakki Hoshuu: I really enjoyed the first season, and had expected a bit much of the ova it would appear. Not enough Harima!!!! Whilst it was still decent in its own right, it held nothing on the original... especially the prehistoric bit; was rly quite disinterested in that segment. on the whole it was still enjoyable tho.

Hey schmole, do u have a copy of ikkitousen that i can borrow? I can't seem to find it anywhere...

Well he's my reviews on anime i've just watched:

Persona: Trinity Soul: PERSONA-lly *boom da TSHH* I thought this would have been a brilliant series. It started off pretty decently, with various things such as the animation style and the graphics which had drew me in. However... the plot line was just way too confusing and boring as it developed. I know some of you guys may say that I'd need to play the game first before I'd understand the whole concept of the story... which I should've had, but then, I don't really like anime that are sequels to a game *or prequels even*. If it had kept to another storyline rather than developing for the previous events in the game, i'd be fine.
6/10

Zero n Tsukaima *seasons 1, 2 and 3*: One of my favourites. This was truly an interesting series indeed. I'm definately expecting a 4th or 5th season to be released mid this year and mid next year. The animation is decent and the storyline was pretty decently done. The storyline may continue into the next season as well *which u'll have to wait 6 months to get it* but that shouldn't phase you. It was also a very funny anime and plenty of action as well *oh and u'll definately love the ending credits song in the second season*. This is definately a must watch series!
Oh and definately for people who like Loli's xD
9.5/10

Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi: At first glance of this anime, I thought it was gonna suck massive elephant dong. HOWEVER, it did take a massive turn for me when I started getting past episodes 2 and etc. The storyline... well... there really isn't one in the first few episodes, but it did start to develop something after episodes 20+. This is also a definate if you are one of those martial arts fanatic *like me*. Also, this series is VERY VERY entertaining and funny *AND WHEN I SAY FUNNY, LOOK FOR THE DRAGONBALL Z REFERENCES THEY MAKE!!! "IT'S OVER 9000!!!"*. What more entertaining to watch the main character go through his daily life being tormented by people that wanna fight him and also the torment he goes through being surrounded by his masters ahahaha. Definately a must watch too *50 episodes so get comfortable lol*
9.5/10

Nanaka 6-17: Ugh... I dunno what drew me in to watch this. Maybe the fact that the main character is a 17 year old with a mind of her 6 year old self... I thought it would've been hilariously funny... but nay. It did have it's funny moments but not really ones that would make you laugh till you burst your spleen. The storyline was just WTH... it seemed like there had been no point made throughout the series. Good thing it was short, cos I would've beat my head with a hammer after watching it.
3/10

Please! Teacher and Please! Twins: Well... I thought I'd through in two love stories into this review. Onegai series is pretty interesting... but then it felt like the anime seemed to be teaching the typical Jap things that are condemed by the people as alright *like dating your teacher or ur sister "eww"!*. I did enjoy it very much, snce it did have its funny moments. However, it was very cliche and just seemed to be dragged on and on in 10 episodes in each series. I did enjoy the extra bonus episodes, which were great and very funny. Despite the negatives, it's still well worth watching.
7/10

Vandread Seasons 1 and 2: Well, this story was pretty interesting. It didn't disappoint me at all. The storyline was kept precise and didn't get boring and it was very funny + entertaining. I was glad that it didn't go all lovey dovey during the second season and kept at what it promised to be since the first episode. It was pretty funny as well. It is also a must watch
8.5/10

R.O.D.: I absolutely loved it since I watched the first episode and onwards. It was very interesting and funny as well. It was well drawn and the graphics were brilliant. However, despite that, the storyline did just take a weird turn near the end of the series. It did however stayed interesting during the series, even though the storyline took a weird turn. Still pretty interesting to watch.
7.5/10

Karin: Pretty interesting... Watching it made me laugh at points. It wasn't boring either... but I just dunno what it lacks... something about it didn't make me seem to get too into it. It wasn't a boring storyline, nor was it badly drawn. It was very entertaining, seeing how it talked about a vampire that creates blood and has nosebleeds when she has excess blood, also had a hungry main character, and a inept vampire hunter who fell in love with a vampire. Like I said, it lacked something and I'm not too sure what it was.
7.5/10

Seto No Hanayome OVAs 1 and 2 *Jin and Gi*: It's Seto No Hanayome. Funny and great! 'nuf said!
10/10

Najica Blitz Tactics: It has finally answered my question about 2D girls... what colour panties they wear under those mini skirts. The answer is White with a little pink bow!!! Not only that, but when they get KOed, their skirts automatically list up when they are on th floor!!! Zomg aye? This series was FILLED with upskirt action... and made me feel pretty dam perverted... even though I was watching it for the storyline *AHEM*. It was interesting in the first two episodes about an agent who finds a robot and works with her in solving cases. It was a pretty interesting storyline until it got to the ending where it just got pretty effed up and seriously got stupid. Decent enuf graphics and worth the watch if you are interested in the storyline... I swear... I was watching it for the storyline!!! *Go download it if u want the etchi-ness lol*
5/10

Daphne in the Brilliant Blue: I was also watching this for the storyline!!! I SWEAR!!! XDDDD. It was a definately funny and entertaining series. I particuarlly enjoyed the storyline and the drawing style wasn't too shabby. Definately worth watching. I couldn't find much negatives about it that I could say. Seriously... what could go wrong when you have 5 girls, 1 who's a mechanic and loves to eat... a lot, 1 who puts out a lot and sleeps around a lot, 1 who is pretty dam scary when she beats people up, 1 who loves shooting anything she sees on sight and scabs any amount of money, and 1 who's caught up between them all lol. And like I said... I was watching this for the storyline!!! SERIOUS!!!
9.5/10

Super Dimension Macross Ultimate DVD Collection: Forgot to add this. Recently bought the original DVD series of the Macross series. Can't say much about drawing style and etc, considering the date it was made. It however still does to this point kept me interested in the storyline. Gotta love the cliche storyline about love and how there is a love triangle between the main characters. It's safe to say for me that I have finally watched all the Macross Series and still, This is the best of them all, regardless. For me, the original is always the best and this definately brings back memories.
10/10

Next reviews will be of:
Maburaho
Galaxy Angel III
Stratos 4 *seasons 1 and 2*
The Twelve Kingdoms
Vampire Knight *seasons 1 and 2*
