Mobile Suit Gundam 00

This was a pretty enjoyable anime that was easy to go through. I spent roughly 3 days on the 2 series.

Although it lacked a complex storyline, it made up for it in terms of action sequences and flashy attacks.

There was very little character development throughout the series, and a lot of the characters were treated like pawns, so it was a little confusing when some of the existing characters reference some minor characters.

Spoiler (hover to show)

Overall, it would be an anime I would recommend to people who are into flashy mecha and pretty boys.

with flashy animation who needs a storyline? Wink

Bakemonogatari: sugoi ne Grin very creative style directing. the character design is good in a not so boring way... tho the characters are as weird as the animation, which is weird in an awesome way of course, and theres quite a lot of artistic bits n pieces which makes this series stand out. sucks that the last few episodes weren't aired due to timing constraints and will be in the dvd ~____~ enjoyed it still lol

been filling my nights with anime, enjoying the works of JC staff most recently

Finally finished Toradora!, i got all the way back in first semester, really enjoyed it, though im one of the weird people that watches tsundere but get kinda irritated that the guy always goes to the main character.
9/10 cause regardless of anything ive said i couldnt stop watching it

on the topic of tsundere i have been watching Zero no Tsukaima, and had the strange thing where i was reminded of characters in an anime that was made after, though seriously, Louise is channeling Aisaka (or should that be the other way around XD) the similarites arent just in how they act, but they look the same and have the same seiyu as well.
anyway, i watched Zero no Tsukaima in one day, and Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi in the next day... and im still working through Princess no Rondo, so its good stuff
8.5/10 for the lot i guess

next on the block would have to be shakugan no shana, cause ive just been in the mood for the same sort of stuff recently

Darker Than Black: Ryūsei no Gemini (TV): o__O im still confused. otherwise it was quite enjoyable, but unfortunately not what i expected. maybe not everything in life needs answers, maybe the questions are answers.... WE are answers... 8/10

Eve No Jikan: i found quite interesting. i didnt like the characters at first, but thats the beauty of character development lol. and good use of robot laws Grin 9/10

Lol this is what i have finished... in Hong kong... lol

Star Ocean EX [TV]: It's an anime?! I had no idea lol!!! Well I watched it and it wasn't that brilliant. The animation is pretty sub par and the action is pretty repetitive *which was a big let down for an RPG game-turned-anime that involves a lot of fighting*. The only thing that I liked about the series is the character personalities and how they interact *Ashton and his Barrel fetish and Loli-com xD*, although some of the characters personality is different to that of the game *Celine is such a bimbo and Rena is so much more outgoing than that of the game*. Since it follows some of the games aspect in Star Ocean: Second Evolution, it does stop halfway before they transport to Nede, so don't expect much. Big let down for me.
4/10

Summer Wars [Movie]: I loved this movie! It was a brilliant mix of events snowballing into one big event in the end and the development of the storyline was brilliant *From just one small job ending up as a massive worldwide incident in the end due to one small equation that the main character decides to solve lol*. It had the feel of a slice of life anime mixed with action and cyberpunk. It was a brilliant anime that showed what would happen if the internet had advanced so far that if something had gone wrong, it would show how it would also affect the whole world. The animation in this film was brilliant. Definately a must watch!

Baka to Test to Shikanju: just watched the 1st episode and thought it was unexpectedly pretty good Grin rival classes fight each other using the their test scores to summon lil chibi's of themselves with attack power relative to their test score in order to climb to the top. concept is pretty cool, its pretty funny and its pretty colourful too (thats 3 pretty's Cheesy)
