What I just finished watching and what I thought about it

Zero n Tsukaima *seasons 1, 2 and 3*: One of my favourites. This was truly an interesting series indeed. I'm definately expecting a 4th or 5th season to be released mid this year and mid next year. The animation is decent and the storyline was pretty decently done. The storyline may continue into the next season as well *which u'll have to wait 6 months to get it* but that shouldn't phase you. It was also a very funny anime and plenty of action as well *oh and u'll definately love the ending credits song in the second season*. This is definately a must watch series!
Oh and definately for people who like Loli's xD

Please! Teacher and Please! Twins: Well... I thought I'd through in two love stories into this review. Onegai series is pretty interesting... but then it felt like the anime seemed to be teaching the typical Jap things that are condemed by the people as alright *like dating your teacher or ur sister "eww"!*. I did enjoy it very much, snce it did have its funny moments. However, it was very cliche and just seemed to be dragged on and on in 10 episodes in each series. I did enjoy the extra bonus episodes, which were great and very funny. Despite the negatives, it's still well worth watching.

Vandread Seasons 1 and 2: Well, this story was pretty interesting. It didn't disappoint me at all. The storyline was kept precise and didn't get boring and it was very funny + entertaining. I was glad that it didn't go all lovey dovey during the second season and kept at what it promised to be since the first episode. It was pretty funny as well. It is also a must watch

vandread 2 didnt become all lovey-dovey 2nd season!? hmmmmm...... may watch that one soon then. didnt watch the sequel right after the original because that's the way i thought the story would go

Daphne in the Brilliant Blue: I was also watching this for the storyline!!! I SWEAR!!! XDDDD. It was a definately funny and entertaining series. I particuarlly enjoyed the storyline and the drawing style wasn't too shabby. Definately worth watching. I couldn't find much negatives about it that I could say. Seriously... what could go wrong when you have 5 girls, 1 who's a mechanic and loves to eat... a lot, 1 who puts out a lot and sleeps around a lot, 1 who is pretty dam scary when she beats people up, 1 who loves shooting anything she sees on sight and scabs any amount of money, and 1 who's caught up between them all lol. And like I said... I was watching this for the storyline!!! SERIOUS!!!

to me the show was like Cowboy Bebop - but a lot better (although still not as good as a lot)
the episodes were very disjointed and the 'ecchi' i watched it for, was pretty much non-existent, some skimpy clothing aside. i gave it a 6.75

Yeh i might agree with u there with saito and louise's relationship... but i knew it was gonna be something like that though so yeh xD.
3rd season seems to open out more as to who is behind all the conflict... dealing with relatives to tabitha. I dunno if u'll like it, but their's a new girl... Also, siesta is much funnier xD... storywise, i dunno if u'll like it, however, much more ecchi for u to balance out lol xD

Yeh... Onegai twins isn't as good as Onegai sensei. It's still worth watching though if u liked watching onegai sensei.

As for vandread 2... there was a bit of love.... but not as lovey dovey where it fills up 3 episodes and no fighting. The second story pretty much explains the rest of what those monsters are that is attacking the crew.

Really? To me, it's very different to Cowboy Bebop. It was interesting as it did uncover maia's past in the later episodes but it was also very funny and entertaining.

It was fairly ecchi, but it didn't focus on perverted-ness

yep... but they really didn't do much bounty hunting... it was like some episodes and the rest were just hired jobs to find something or to do something.

and yes... very ecchi... but they never seem to focus on it though.... unlike najica blitz tactics... my god... pantsu shot from all angle... and the sexual references in that.... like dam xD

Jubei-chan The Ninja Girl: I don't know what made me go BUY this and watch it but i guess it was something impulsive xD. Good thing though is that I think I didn't waste my money on it. It was decent to watch and pretty funny at times *however it seemed to try too much sometimes*. There were times you just get so annoyed by Jubei but then, it's how the series was supposed to be xD. Overall, I don't have much to say about it. Lets just say it's good enuf to waste 15 bucks... xD

.hack twilight: I'm sure you all remember my review about .hack sign and how I blammed that worthless shizzle, well I happened to have have twilight lying around in my hard drive and had nothing to watch so i decided to watch it. Now, .hack sign sucked massive monkey go-nads... but i might have to differ when it comes to twilight. It has much more action finally and it's much more interesting. The characters are much more loveable and not friggin emo like .hack sign was. The characters are pretty cute, very chibi/loli *whatever u prefer* and the series finally has funny moments. Shuho and Rena are both loveable characters, since they ain't annoying *friggin Tsukasa the emo from hack sign... go die xD*. Sadly though... i do advise u watch Hack sign before watching this or else u won't get it... *or maybe the other hack series...*. I haven't decided yet to whether i should download the rest but u guys are gonna have to tell me what's worth it

I just finished watching Pani Poni Dash!.
That is one seriously messed up (read: hilarious beyond all reason) anime

Also Black Lagoon. Though I'm not a fan of the whole "everyone has guns" plot type, I really really liked this anime. It's got a brutal honesty and depth to it that's just awesome. Plus have you heard them speak English??? It's so fraggin brilliant!:D:D

And the first season of Rozen Maiden is alright...

Finished Bonen no Xamdou last night. Was quite good, with quite probably the best animation I've seen in the last few years (along with Michiko to Hachin that is).

Whilst some of the story elements don't tie well in the end, sorta glad it was a happy ending, although somewhat reminiscent of Full Metal Alchemist, which I guess would be to be expected of Bones

The Intro is also one of the most catchy tunes I've heard in a while too.

Well lets get on with my stuff.

Shakugan no Shana II: This series was more into love triangle. When you look on the front page, it actually looks like a cute girl fighting but its actual more romance. The main genre that everyone will enjoy are Action, Comedy, Horror, Romance and Fantasy but Shakugan no Shana II's front page makes the Action fan attract the series and then buys it. I too am aware that SNS genre is Action and Romance but all it lacks is Action, and people who are expecting that this series is into Action will be dissapointed. This is why people have to read the back so they know what it is all about.
My Rating: 8.5/10

D.N. Angel
This show was pretty good untill it gets around episode 20's. I would not recommend for people who are not familliar with Western/ Christian words as then it may confuse you (gods, angels etc) Plus it has no story.. I mean its more like just watching "the Simpsons" where Marge just to clean the house, Lisa goes to school, Maggie is a little cute baby. But this show has romance and which what makes it only interesting.

Negima!
Negima was consider to be my 1st anime I've ever watch and completed series. I have liked it and enjoy all the way to the end. But I was a noob at anime... so no focus on the plot, no genre knowledge, no focus storyline and more. If I knew anime (on that time), then I dont know what will have happen..

Code GEass R2 => its kinda rush job at episode 21 and so on.... The drawing, painting, and story are all so RUSHED... i don't like it man... at least give us an OVA...

wow this anime is realli nice... even if you're not interested in music, Ayako Kawasumi [voiced saber (FSN) and lots more] and Seki (i forgot his full name) [Voiced gundam seed Yzak, the famous SAGARA Sousuke and alot of shows oso, chobits too] these two make Great combinations... they just go sweat and sweat and sweat.... well the story line is not bad....
but its a mad anime...

Hikaru no Go. It was nice, although i lol'd at the corny *insert action shot of placing a stone* during a lot of the matches It was good, and entertaining, even though for the entire anime, i didnt understand the meaning behind the moves, who was winning, or why placing a stone in a particular spot was enough to get a gasp out of all the people watching the game.
Also, the whole Sai leaving Hikaru and him feeling depressed and *whine whine whine* was lame.
However, it was very captivating and i remained interested throughout (except for the spoiler'd bit above).8.5/10

Hunter X Hunter7.50 - Good shounen series. Although the sudden, *incredible* powering up left a sort of bad taste in my mouth. The limitations of the human being aside, it was interesting. Looking to get the OVAs too so it doesnt feel so...... incomplete....  7.5/10

Wanted to be able to watch the latest series (which im up to date with ), so watched Hajime no Ippo: Mashiba vs Kimura. Was very good, entertaining, attention-captivating etc. So yeh was happy. Couldn't give it the same score as the movie and original though because there wasnt enough ippo/takamura xDDD 8.5/10

Also, watched Koutetsu Tenshi Kurumi Encore. Yeh... was pretty much as 'meh' as the original lol. I saw it was only 4 ~12 minute eps though, and managed to get through it all on the train home from uni one day 4.5/10

Maburaho: Pretty decent anime. It is very funny if you really love the harem stuff. The characters aren't too annoying and uniquely funny in a way. I do have to say that the storyline does sorta fail a bit in the end. I won't spoil it for you but if you want some laughs, I won't mind suggesting this for you

Rosario + Vampire s1 + s2: This is one of my personal favourites. Again, it's revolves around one guy and a harem of girls (well actually really hot monsters xD) and it is very funny. It has so much fan service that you could probabily poke a stick at (<3 Shirayuki-chan). Overall, i can't say much about a plot line, but then again, i suppose it's more like a random day to day life in a monster school. Really great animation. Highly recommended.

Stratos 4 s1 + s2: It's a slice of life genre about pilots who destroy comets to protect the earth. It's really great for those aviation air heads like me, but if you don't like jets, planes, and etc, i suppose this wouldn't be your type of anime to watch unless you love slice of life genres. Made by the same guys who did najica blitz tactics so there were some fan service *not as perverted as najica was zzz*. Good animation overall. For me I loved it. I would give it 9/10, but from an unbiased perspective:

Yomigaeru Sora -Rescue Wings: Again, another Slice of Life genre about a military pilot who aimed to become a JSDF fighter pilot, but ended up flying helicopters in the rescue division. Unlike Stratos 4, THIS IS REALLY GOOD!!! Very realistic and very indepth detail into the way the JSDF operations take place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I can't wait for the live action of this!!!

Galaxy Angel III: Can't say much, same as all the other galaxy angels... random and sometimes funny. Overall, not too great but the final episode was something different for once *they are actually serious in the final episode OO;*. They need something more refreshing

Angelic Layer: Interestingly enough, I had no idea that Clamp made this until I started watching this. It's pretty unique but it did seem to be fairly different from the typical genres clamp usually makes. Not saying that it's bad, but in fact, it's quite refreshing, especially if you've only watched cardcaptors or tsubasa. Pretty nice in my opinion but the storyline could've used a little more. Maybe they could have made it in fifty episodes instead.

Dragonaut -The Resonance: At first, I was really interested in this. It went pretty well throughout the entire series, but it didn't feel like it developed much until after episodes 18 or so. It still was fairly interesting as it did keep me interested, especially the subs wacky remarks before the episodes started *omg siegfred has 6 fingers n one episode lol*. Worth a watch still but I don't consider it that great.

Vampire Knight (s1 + s2 *Guilty*): I'd hate to say this, but I didn't really like this in the end. Maybe it's cos i'm a guy, and this anime seemed to be aimed more at the female market cos of all that bishounen stuff *i think it was called bishounen*. Storyline was just weird until right at the end of s2 where it started to make more sense. In the end, not my style of anime but unbiasedly, i'll score it:

Clannad -After Story: Currently on top of my anime top 10s. Very good and it developed more from the movie and the game. I loved it. Turned me into a massive softy after watching this =___=;

School Rumble (s1 + s2 + OVAs *san gaki*): Lol, this anime definately takes the most random crap ever list. It's so random that it's so funny. I loved spending time figuring out some of the movies, animes and shows that they were making fun of. In the end, it was so random, nothing ever developed from the main characters love plot xD. Still it is very funny and worth watching.

Twelve Kingdoms: Wow, this anime also takes a position in my top 10 animes. It's so well done, it made me actually feel like i'm following the storyline from a book or something. It wasn't hard to understand the technical jargon and everything was explained. I however did wish that they'd finish some of the stories *e.g. what about Taiki?*. In the end, it's a great anime and highly recommended.

Akikan!: Well... it was a pretty cute anime. Very very random and sometimes funny. It does sometimes feel that they are trying too hard with some jokes. The drawing style feels a little different to me but not in a bad way. Worth a watch if you are looking for a laugh.

Maria Holic: Season 2 please. This is so funny xD. I never would've thought that i'd be watching an anime with a trap in it, but it's just too funny to not watch it xD. It effectively uses nose bleeds so well *nose bleed pool lol xD* and it's also massively random with no actual plot involved. Animation style is also unique so i dunno how i'd categorise it. I suppose you guys should watch it. I really want season 2 to come out too.

i agree! i reckon they shouldve went and done a 2nd season or something as it does get so so so muchH better! in the manga i love how ohgr8! makes the characters look very stylish and hot both male and female, its really well done imo

i gave it a generous rating because it was a really good anime. The animation style, the humour, etc.

only reason why it lost the 2.5 is as i said, it could have ended better, e.g. agreeing with jez, maybe a season 2 to explain all the other regelia's or showing what happened after.

I would've gave it 10/10 if it did cover everything in the manga too.
