angel beats is too predictable and the ending was rather weak. i was expecting something that is more of a tear jerker coming from key. disappointed by the whole thing but it is still good nonetheless. 7/10

Eden of the East - this series was good, the characters were really cool and i like how they made NEETs seem like zombies XD it's pretty much about a guy, Takizawa, a Selecao, who gets 10billion yen on his phone and he has to try save japan with it, while competing with 11 other people who have the same phone, then a girl he likes ends up in the mess. pretty good story line, it was a shame it was short. Sad well it hasn't really ended.   10/10

Eden of the East Movie I: The King of Eden - this movie is a continuation of the 11 ep series. it doesn't even have an ending XD so it leaves you on a climax. in this, the game is still going, so Saki and friends try to track down takizawa and try to prevent him from changing his identity again. the Selecaos' start decreasing and getting closer to the winner. i'm annoyed how it leaves you on another climax  OH NOES!
i wish i was japanese so i wouldnt have to wait for the dvd releases to be subbed  XD   9/10

Here's what I've watched in the past 2 months (most recently finished at the bottom):

Saki - I'm not sure what it is about sports anime, but I always get into the sport that is played for a brief period post-finish. It was the same with Hikaru no Go and Ippo, but after finishing this I had instructions for Japanese-style Mahjong, and finally found a program floating around the net after much searching.
Did I mind the crazy super power-esque characters? Nope. Did I mind the focus on Nodoka's chest? Nope Cheesy
Some of the episodes felt better than others - for example the
Spoiler (hover to show)
, her backstory was incredibly boring I thought... especially with the repeated scenes that were replayed around 4 times iirc... bad enough for me to notice them, and still remember them 1.5 months later xD
Content-wise, it was your natural progression, heading towards a goal against monstorous odds, but it was nice ^_^ nothing really amazing, but an entertaining watch on the whole. Gave this one a 7.5/10

Sentou Yousei Yukikaze - This is another one of those wtf-is-going-on anime that seems to be held in a positive light (akin to Lain and Evangelion, but less famous) from what I can gather. As with Lain and Evangelion... I thought it was rather boring on the whole. The main scenes were slow and boring, and not much in the way of explanation was offered. As to what wasn't explained all that well, I can't remember, and I'm not too interested in finding out what it was. It had its good bits too, but was weighed down by the bad --> 4.5/10

Mujin Wakusei Survive - What was initially just me picking an older show in 4:3 aspect ratio for my ipod turned into a really pleasant and enjoyable show. The show had a very simple charm, the children all surviving on their own, and maturing along the way. I honestly can't pinpoint what it was about the show that really intruiged me, as it followed the 'problem exists -> solve it -> new problem' pattern. Maybe it was the innocence, or maybe the combination of a variety of character types did it, but I found myself looking forward to watching each new episode with increasing anticipation. Would definitely recommend it Smiley 8.75/10

Gekijouban Naruto Shippuuden - A lot better than the movies for the original Naruto series... but that isn't saying much. More rasengan action, more lifting yourself to meet your challenges, more making friends with whoever you meet, more never giving up, and of course, more '~ttebayo'! The story this time around wasn't very contrived like the past movies (omg naruto movie 3.... =.=), with some nice looking animation along the way. Not too much to say. Was a reasonably pleasant watch, but nothing special. 6.5/10

B Gata H Kei - Some episodes were pretty damn funny, some over-pushed the 'ero'ness of the female lead to a point where it was overwhelming... but the whole role reversal was a nice change of pace. Now if the main character had actually portrayed the 'slutty' character she dreamt of, this show wouldn't hold any of the charm it does - her trying to obtain her first cherry-kun, but realising her own bashfulness along the way in a way that felt very natural.. twas really good Smiley and the way those last 2 episodes were done was amazing. Tied everything up really well, in a very nice way Smiley 8.5/10

One Piece Film: Strong World - Episode 0 - I love the prospect of more One Piece Cheesy Nice little short there, with nice animation, sticking true to the good quality of the main series. Looking forward to the bluray releases of the movie itself Smiley 8/10

Aika - When I DLd this one ages ago, I'd obviously heard that that pantsu may appear here n there throughout the series.... but... well I wasn't expecting the amount that I got xD First few episodes were ok, but once the main guy had been taken out, the remaining revenge-fuelled attacks were really loosely tied in, rather than the series moving on. Entertaining, but nothing to poke a stick at... 4.5/10

Ai Yori Aoshi ~Enishi~ - I hadn't seen the original, but this was on my HDD somewhere... must have gotten it at a LAN sometime. Oh well. Now that I've seen the sequel, I have no intention of watching the series beforehand. The anime is very character-based, and sadly, those characters weren't very good at all xD So essentially, there is this couple living in with others, but their relationship is a secret, so bam!... instant-harem with the guy who isn't all that appealing... worst scene for me was the 'American' girl who spoke english at some point with her 'American' parents.... oh god... the English was terrible. Now, I understand that a Japanese person's english may not be of the highest quality pronunciation-wise, but this was below par. Umm - iono, dont really want to talk about this one more xP 4/10

Summer Wars - Haven't watched a movie that I've really enjoyed for a while... but this was an exception. Great animation, vocal work, and concept of the virtual world. Won't say much more, but definitely something that should be watched Smiley 8.75/10

Hagane no Renkinjutsushi (2009) - Loved it Cheesy The original FMA was the first anime I watched, so I was a bit reluctant to hear that they were going to redo it. But wow, wat a drastic change! The pace seemed a little fast at the outset, with
Spoiler (hover to show)
. That being said, I thought that the way

.
At this point, I must note that I watched the original in English, so some complaints people were making about peoples' voice actors changing didn't bother me in the slightest. Once the series broke away from the similarities of the first, the story to me seemed to fit the lead up better than the original. Gah - going to try and stop the comparisons; they both have their strengths.
The animation was very fluid throughout, and some of the uses of alchemy were very clever. I liked the internal
Spoiler (hover to show)
. I did think that at the end the fact that

. But, I really didnt mind too much, because even if it was a little forced, it did bring the fights prior to that to a pinnacle.
I'm glad they rounded the end off nicely, not leaving anything undone; but there was enough of a hint of things to come to milk a movie at the very least I'm sure.
Overall, was an amazing 64 week ride, with my anticipation for each coming episode remaining extremely high throughout the entire thing. Only the 4th time I've given a series a 10... but definitely thought this one deserves it Smiley 10/10

History's Strongest Diciple Kenichi - Another anime I really managed to get into. The relationship between Kenichi and his masters was great. The fights were good when they came around, but the training methods, and the charcter interactions between them were nice too. Was a very good series I thought - kept me looking forward to each new episode throughout.. which surprised me actually, because I wasn't expecting all that much for a shounen brawler anime. 9/10 <- nice light hearted fun Smiley

Mayoi Neko Overrun! - Wasn't very good on the whole. Too many random episodes thrown in there. Tsundere chick was a bit too much at times. Overly rich loli kid was annoying at times. But iono... I liked the neko-mimi girl's subdued character and 'nyaa~' every now and then Tongue final episode was a massive let down, so I didn't really consider it when rating the anime. Not recommended: 4.5/10

Arakawa Under the Bridge - I really enjoyed the first episode. Then it slumped... quickly... the extra characters were introduced, and the 'comedy' became essentially non-existent. I did like Sister, and I liked Stella up to a certain point (
Spoiler (hover to show)
).
However, highlight of the show was definitely Recruit's male secretary. The scenes with him in them were genuinely funny, and shone through the rest of the show enough to allow me to deem it 'average' on the whole. Wouldn't recommend it.. 5/10

edit -- really dislike the way that these forums deal with spoilers xD copied the bbcode from my primary anime-forum where it just hides the text unless you highlight it. That's a much better way to do it for text ... although this forum's spoiler formatting works well for saving space with images.

B gata H kei: was recommended this by a friend, the adult humor and role reversal was hilarious. i normally would have dropped these kinds of anime cos they tend to be boring and lame but this is worth watching. 8/10

Baccano! - Confusing at first, but later everything becomes understandable. it's very different with how the story of different people intertwine (mafia and immortal alchemists that can eat other immortals). i think that firo, isaac and miria are the best characters XD it's a shame the series is only 16 episodes, but the story progressed nicely.   8.5/10

Animes that i had just finished

Sousei no Aquarion: basically it is your average super robot show with Orgasmic Gattai, Hot blooded protagonists and uber strong Robot. The story Background is epic but it is not utilised really well and the Main Protagonist is overshadowed by his past incarnations. The battle animation is terrible, since the use of 3D animation is not that good, the overall story is terrible due to terrible pacing and filler episodes makes it even worse. The only good thing about this series is the mecha and the 1st OP, Mugen Punch is awesome and Aquarion deserves a spot in ACE:R indeed. Overall it is bad to mediocre anime, if you are a super robot fan or going to play ACE:R, watch the anime. I guess father of Macross is not really good in writing stories.

Overall Scores: 6/10

MS IGLOO: A really good side story of OYW, basically it is about the Zeon's experimental weapons test and covers the progress of the OYW starting from revolution of MS usage to eventual defeat of Zeon. The anime is animated in 3D which is not really good idea since the human expressions is not that good and seems awkward, but the battle animation is done pretty well. Overall i recommend any mecha fans to watch this series especially Zeon MS fan, no Gundam in this series but some of the mecha designs is really good.

Hildolfr(much cooler compared to Guntank)

Zudah(wished there is a MG for this MS)

Overall Score:8/10

Votoms Pailsen's files: I am just into one of the classic mecha titles and i stumble into Votoms, this series is really awesome and it deserves better attentions, The main protagoist is really badass. Pailsen's files is newer animation for Votoms , the story cover's the past of Chirico Cuvie when he still serve the military of Gilgamesh, in Pailsen's files Chirico is put into a team where team members have similar experiences with him. The animation quality is good as expected from Sunrise though it is easily weaker compared to previous Votoms animation

Overall score: 7.5/10

Full metal Alchemist - Brotherhood: No need explanation for this series I guess. Pretty much the same as the original series for the first 20 or so episodes but it did eventually start following the original storyline set by the manga. Absolutely loved it and in fact, i think it was much better than the original series. Very well worth the watch for FMA fans.
10/10

Slayers Revolution: Continuation of the Slayers series, introducing a new character to the crew (as well as slightly hinting old characters from the Slayers OVAs and Movies *namely the character Naga*) not as great as the original series as it has lost the element of randomness which it used to have in the old series which made it a lot of fun to watch. It is not as funny as the originals either now.
4/10

Slayers Evolution-R: The conclusion to Slayers Revolution. Not much change in the storyline... and not all that exciting either.
4/10

Crest of the Stars: The first introductory series to the Banner of the Stars story. This series introduces to the audience about the main characters, Jinto and Lafiel, and explains the history about the two different races as well as why Jinto is Royalty in the space race called the Abh. Although it's a pretty old series, It really had a very interesting storyline to how the Abh race came about and introduced the tension between the human race and the abh race (which is slowly leading to the inevitable war between them). Great little starter that gets u into the mood for the entire story.
8/10

Crest of the Stars OVA: This OVA is about Lafiel's parents before she was born. The OVA explains what the Abhs ancestral backgrounds are. This is more of a continuation from crest of the stars to further explain what the Abhs are.
8/10

Banner of the Stars: This is the continuation from Crest of the Stars. Jinto has been assigned on Lafiel's Assault ship and the Abh race has declared war on humankind. This series depicts the war between the two sides and the perils which Jinto, Lafiel and Lafiel's crew has to face during that period. For an old series, the concepts and drawing styles is just brilliant and I absolutely loved the whole techno-geek talk when it comes to explaining each and every system on an Abh ship. There was also the element of tactics thrown into the mix as well. Definately not for those who don't like discussion of tactics though.
8/10

Banner of the Stars II: The continuation from Banner of the Stars. Jinto and Lafiel have been assigned as Peace Ambassadors for the Abh race as the war is slowly coming to a halt. They have been assigned a task to liberate a planet that is now used as a prison facility. Perils face Jinto as he is caught in the middle of it. The animation of Banner of the Stars II is significantly much better than the first two series (and most likely that they had received extra funding for the series too). The storyline also tries to develop the sense of relationship building up between Jinto and Lafiel.
9/10

Banner of the Stars III: Continuation from Banner of the Stars II. This is a 2 episode hour short episodes concluding the series. Jinto and Lafiel are no longer part of the military but continue to be peace ambassadors for the Abh race (as well as slightly hinting that they are now in a relationship together). They now come to a point where Jinto must face his past and revisit his home planet once again.
9/10

Ladies vs Butlers: Wow talk about fan service. It is about a boy named, Hino Akiharu, who has transferred into a school which teaches not only etiquette for ladies but also how to be a maid/butler and be able to serve these ladies. As you should know, it's quite an ecchi series... and it seems that very much take ecchiness to the extreme and possibly borderlining questionable material lol... =____=;;; definately NFSW xD... However, it is a very funny series as it does have it's funny moments.... but most of those moments involve something ecchi.
5/10

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan: Finally decided to watch this... I couldn't stop laughing at the complete randomness of this series at all. If there was any storyline to this, please do let me know. All I know is that it's about an angel that beats a single person to death. It's a great OVA series if you just want to watch something that is random and full of lols xD
9/10

Angel Beats: I'm kind of conflicted about this series. It is about people who had regrets in life and died thinking that life had been unfair to them end up in this school which is kinda like a place for them to forget about these regrets. Although the concept of the series was an interesting one, 12 episodes was just too short for it and it lacked the emotional impact that the series could have brought, just like the other series that the production company had made. Why they had made it so short, I'll never know, but I do believe having made it so short that they failed to bring out the FULL potential of the series. This needs to be remade in the future for sure. But then again, don't let it change your mind about watching it because it did have it's very funny moments... just that it's touching moments didn't work so well as it was too short after all.
7/10

Itazura na Kiss: This is a series about a girl, Kotoko, who had confessed her love through a love letter to a guy she has liked since she started high school, Irie Naoki, but was completely rejected by him straight off the bat without even accepting and reading the letter. Fate later messes around with Kotoko and she finds herself having to live with the Irie Naoki and the her life starts to change because of this. I had absolutely loved this series (although it was kinda shoujo series like) and the reason that I loved it is because it was absolutely hilarious and it also explores the 10 years of Kotoko's life and how it changes ever since that night she moved into Irie Naoki's house because their fathers are best friends. Definately a great series to watch if u love the slice of life series.
9/10

Midori no Hibi: This series was just so funny and great xD. Seiji, a high schooler famed for his demon right hand as well as his bad luck with girls, finds himself one morning with a girl, named Midori, attached to his right arm like a puppet. This little series was absolutely brilliant and cute. And the who concept had lots of innuendos that you could point a stick at (namely the whole 'my girlfriend is my right hand' idea made me lol).
9/10

Nodame Cantabile: I guess I don't have to explain much about this series as I assume a lot of you guys have seen it *GYABO!*. But in short... FRIGGIN EPIC!!! XDDDDD so funny and if you have no idea what I'm talking about and you absolutely LOVED Honey and Clover, I guess this is the series for you.
10/10

Nodame Cantabile - Paris-hen: Continuation from the first season. Still as funny as ever and you slowly start to see more development between the two main characters, Chiaki and Nodame. Nuff said xD
10/10

Nodame Cantabile - Finale: Omg the ending series was brilliant and I absolutely loved it. Conclusion series to the Nodame saga. Chiaki and Nodame find that their two paths are slowly separating and are finding it hard to be with each other... so will love prevail between them or will they go their separate ways? Great series overall and you guys just know it that Nodame is friggin cute lol xD *MUYKA!*
10/10

Hayate no Gotoku: This series is about the most unfortunate boy ever who incurs a debt of 150mil yen and somehow ends up becoming a butler for a insanely rich 13 year old girl named Nagi. This series has so much parodies that u could poke a stick at. Seriously, if you can name nearly all of them, I'd be pretty worrried xD ahhaha *i nearly got most of them ahaha xD =___=;*. A little too childish for me but still the parodies (like evangelion) just made me lol a lot.
7/10

Hayate no Gotoku - Season 2: Second season to the Hayate no Gotoku series. 26 episodes instead of 50 episodes like the first one. Not much parodies in this one as I have noticed and not as funny either. Maybe it is just me but i didn't really enjoy this seasons at all.
4/10

Kenran Butoh Sai - The Mars Daybreak: If you guys love Mecha and Pirates, this is the anime for you. It is a story about pirates, mars treasure and the relationship between Gram and Vestamona (u'll see it in the series). I had absolutely loved this series, and only just recently learnt that it was based off the PS2 game of Kenran Butoh Sai. The animation was really nicely drawn and the fight scenes were not any of the lamely recycled animations that u see many anime series have. Brilliant piece to watch.
9/10

Strain - Strategic Armored Infantry: Not as long of a series as I had been expecting. It is about a girl, named Sara Werec and the story about her brother, Ralph Werec. Both become pilots of a mecha that uses a biotechnology part known as a mimic that fuses with your body, making it much easier and agile than the average mecha. I can't explain further because it will spoil the series. The animation of the mecha battles are cged and isn't that bad. The series however felt a bit too short and felt that it needed much more, however the storyline wasn't overall that bad.
7/10

Zone of the Enders - Dolores; i: This is about a space trucker who had been assigned to deliver a package and learns that the package is some high technological female mecha that introduces herself as Dolores the Orbital Frame. This series is based off from the PS2 Game, Zone of Enders 1 and 2. The series is pretty funny at times as the Giant Mecha acts like a typical girl lol. Well worth the watch.
8/10

Zone of Enders - Idolo: The prequel to the story in Dolores; i. It is a 1 hour OVA explaining how the orbital frames were made and the prequel to the Zone of Enders 1 and 2 games if i am right.
7/10

Tales of Eternia: This is a story about 4 adventurers who have been assigned a task to prevent a catastrophe called the Great Fall, where the two worlds, Celestia and Inferia, are about to collide into each other. The whole storyline did start off great, and like all Tales of series, you see to occasional original moves that are seen in the games. The storyline near the ending seemed to have sped up and lost the plot because it all of a sudden changed plot and didn't make sense. It did end up disappointing.

Hmm i might watch Crest/Banner of the Stars since it looks promising, IIRC the main heroine looks similar with Nerine from Shuffle.

Am working full time this semester with the coop scholarship, so haven't posted much/at all.

Thought i'd post an update on what i've watched though Cheesy [taken from the anime forums I'm active in - so excuse some tense changes/crappy animesydney spoiler formatting please Smiley]

As always, list is in order of completion; most recently watched/completed at the bottom:

Working!! – Thought the 1st episode was ok… so I decided to keep watching it. Became less and less interested as the series went on. Too much brutal-VRFAI-man-phobia girl and not enough Takanashi & chibi-coworker interaction. Attic-girl made it more interesting for a brief little bit, but got tired of her quickly Tongue Iono – was an ok watch, but felt myself putting it off each time YuS released it, so DLd Chihiro and watched it all at once to be done with it xD 5/10 – nice enough show, but not enough content that suits my tastes [hell, the character names weren't memorable enough, except for Takanashi, whose cool name was worth remembering]
(from what I can remember of last semester's Japanese... kanji: 小鳥遊 - which means "Small Birds Play", and the reading "Takanashi" means "No Hawks" - such an interesting reading, I love it Cheesy)

Ghost in the Shell SAC 2nd GIG – Was a really nice show Smiley Was really into it, and liking the main plot, but so many outside influences came in, that it disrupted my interest. Great show, would recommend it, but could do with less stories about the 9th Division's members, and more on the primary plot of the series ^_^ 8.5/10

Chou Gekijouban Keroro Gunsou 2 Shinkai no Princess de Arimasu! (Keroro Gunsou Movie 2) - Nice little movie. With the (incredibly) slow release of the TV subs, was nice to watch the characters again. Still love Gunsou Tongue otherwise, the movie was a little weak... 5.5/10

Beck - First thing about this series is the better-than-normal Engrish xDDD makes a nice change to be able to understand the English most of the time without needing to read the subtitles XP That aside, I felt the premise was good, and I liked some of the singing/songs. The series was quite nice, but it didn't go anywhere.... progressed a little slowly, and the ending wasn't too conclusive (which I felt the series needed, whilst some other series can do it well). A nice watch 7.5/10

Kousetsu Hyaku Monogatari (Hundred Stories) - The blood and the deaths were really interesting to watch Smiley the artistic direction of some of the scenes was also really interesting, and I really liked it when those 2 things came up in the series.... however, there wasn't enough of them. The protagonist didn't have enough substance, the 3 eerie-guys didnt have enough background, and the way each story was broken up wasn't all that interesting. Would have liked a more underlying story/tone to have progressed from start to finish. It had its moments, but not all that great imo 4/10

Seikon no Qwaser - Yep... I watched it all the way to the end Tongue Once you take out the breast-sucking... there's not much to the show Tongue First episode was interesting, and risque i thought, but yeh.... became very "over" it xD 3.5/10

VanDread the Second - Stalled this one for a while after the first episode. Then got around to watching it again at a slow pace. It was nice... but not too good Tongue cbb'd writing more xD 5.5/10

Taiho Shichau zo: Second Season (You're Under Arrest 2nd Season) - Was passively watching this one on trains n stuff, but wasn't all that impressed. The two non-newbie characters were nice enough (and the baseball-dude comic relief was quite nice too xD), but I didn't like too much the way things played out. The first episode the uptight rookie is being overly imposing in her abiding by the rules, but that level of adhering changes throughout the season... sometimes she's anally retentive about something small, other times she seems to not care about things... iono....
When an anime is episodic and the characters are fall-in-love good, it ends up being crap in my eyes.... and this is yet another example of that.... 5/10

You`re Under Arrest: Taiho Shichau zo (OVA episode) - same thing but shorter. they are in a different city, but all the characters are there.... oh wait.... no, that's not *generic character name A*-san, that's just someone who conveniently looks exactly the same... u know, *generic character name B*-san. ugh - it works sometimes within a dream sequence within the anime proper, but not in an OVA... just cheap quality. There were some guns and stuff that the original series didnt have, but was blegh 4.5/10

Gintama - Amazing series Cheesy am always apprehensive about starting a longer series (50+ episodes), but a 200+ episode series... and a comedy to boot? my views on comedy can be quite different from the regular person... however it seems this anime was right up my alley! I have found myself suddenly loving facial distortion... gin/kagura/shinpachi's facial reactions were absolutely golden.
They covered so much; anime parodies, toilet humour, facial distortion, terrible puns, taking stabs at their own airing time/aspect ratio/producers/mangaka... had a variety of characters whose interactions were kept consistent throughout... and throughout it all had actual arcs of serious storyline with the characters that grow on you every episode. I loved Shinpachi's character in the joking-around episodes, but Gin's way of acting during the serious bits (plus in the comedy) was amazing - such a well constructed character imo.
Iono, can't profess my love for this anymore! that said, there were some episodes that just were rather standard, or slow... but was very much made up for with other episodes. for a 200+ ep series, the quality was surprisingly high throughout. recommended - 9.25/10

Sonic X - Converted it to my ipod format and managed to finally finish this off after starting it a good 3-4 years ago. If the time it took me to watch it wasn't an indication of quality.... this anime sucked pretty hard xD but it was watchable... then it hit episode 53... suddenly, my fansubbed episodes disappeared, and it's in english, and they are in space, fighting robots who want to control the galaxy..... wtf.... quality plummeted further =____=
iono - had its (very very very few) moments, but was damn awful. 3.5/10

Ojamajo Doremi Na-i-sho - Rather slow paced one this. I haven't watched the original series (although had already seen the (crappy) offshot "movies") so the characters weren't familiar, and weren't introduced, so it took a few episodes to get to know them. There were a couple good episodes in there that stood out for whatever reason [can't remember now :/] but the lack of background really didn't help my opinion of this. Very childish, but not in the good way, and rather uninteresting... yet watching each episode wasn't hard to do. Not much more to say, wouldn't recommend it; 4.75/10

Narutaru (Mukuro Naru Hoshi Tama Taru Ko, for completeness) - Mk, so here's the thing... i actually watched the intro all the way through the first episode I saw of this.... so for those who have seen this, you can imagine the incredibly misguided impression I had of the show. But on the other hand, I'm soooo glad I was misguided XD I have not seen brutality for a good while, so it was a very welcomed change. Hoshimaru's existence is still a mystery to me, as with a LOT of other aspects (which I'm told the manga continues with .... but meh @ manga Tongue) - very terrible closure to the series. That said, I enjoyed the trippy ride; it has its flaws, but was a damned enjoyable watch; 7.75/10

Mahou Tsukai Tai - not a fan of the characters, nor the flimsy premise the story was based upon. I did like the fact magic seemed to be something hard to grasp and perform, even with studies and practice, lapses in concentration would cause falters in the finished product (not something I see much in magic anime). That said, the main character annoyed me heaps, and the characters that gathered around her weren't much better... definitely not a fan of the "oh, you have the power within you" kind of thing when it ends up with such a pathetic result (woo, big brooms? who cares xD) 4.5/10

Planetes - Started out rather slowly, which was disappointing. The concept of space and the divisions in the classes of people in space was nice, but was very..... disjoint xDD the series really picked up to a new level once they first went to the moon and met the

. Then it got a lot better once the Le Braun was introduced to the story too. Suddenly I was really looking forward to the next episode, and although the way emotions were expressed left a bit to be desired on a couple of occasions, it was a very enjoyable watch. 7.5

Last Exile - I enjoyed the "olden" style it had, whilst technology was still available.... is this what you call steampunk? iono. The story at the first half was really good, but died off as it got further on and more people were introduced. All this hype about "exile" and it was rather anticlimactic imo.... the flying was nice, and I did like the girl (Al i think? cant remember)... that plush cow was awesome as well xDD
At times I would get confused between a couple of characters, because they weren't major... but still had a place where they expected to be recognised. *shrugs* that's probably my fault though Tongue was enjoyable yes, but had some minor flaws; 7/10

Minami-ke - Now this was a surprise for me.... I was expecting to find this rather "meh", but I actually really enjoyed the show! Kana's character is amazing, absolutely love her xD and chiaki's mean streaks, yet complete innocence to haruka was interesting, even if i'd seen similar things in other anime. I honestly can't put my finger on what was so good about the show.... but I shan't dwell on it - I know I enjoyed it, and that's good enough for me Smiley 8.5/10

Gakuen Mokushiroku: High School of the Dead - Enjoyed this one up until the last couple of episodes (and then enjoyed the last one again). Now, i don't know about others, but when I'm watching a zombie movie, i'm not expecting a resolution where the humans come and deal with it, and it's all taken care of. I want to see the deprivation of the human psyche, the darkness coming out, and I want to see a lot of action scenes of people busting through zombies killing them however they can. Those things presented themselves to me, and they were yummy Cheesy
on the other hand, they were also trying to hold on to their sanity and humanity.... so the scene where

was really good! I also really enjoyed how in the midst of a zombie outbreak that the

. those little things were great to see!
on the other hand, some of the romance'y stuff was a bit :/, and it definitely slowed down when they arrived at the mansion... whilst I appreciate they were trying to show how people were dealing with it, I want to see some zombie-slaying action xDD
the ecchi was a little much at times... and yes... the matrix tits scene was just  -_-;  but for the most part was a pleasant addition to the show Smiley
from what I read on sakaku, the blu rays are still censored as per the TV version [

]. so that's a bit disappointing xD 7.75/10

Read or Die TV - Really awesome show! High quality animation, great characters and a plot that linked it all together in a very pleasing way Cheesy much better than the OVA imo. mmmm not sure what else to say (plus I realise I've been writing all this over a long period of time) so i'll cut it short.... definitely recommended Smiley 8.75/10

Weiss Survive - Watched the series last night on a whim.... not much to it. There is some semblance of a plot, but each episode is so short, that they all feel disjoint and random. the old guy was funny though xDD 5.5/10

I'm currently in the middle of watching Spice and Wolf II, however I want to rewatch season 1 in English because there were some economical things I didn't understand.
