Natsume Yuujinchou

[Wacky]

Synopsis: Natsume has the ability to see youkai (spirits), so he was always alone. After moving to his hometown he discovers his grandmother (now deceased) saw them too, and kept a "Book of Friends" which have power over spirits. He meets a cat youkai and stuff happens.


Lovely series, often described as "Mushishi-lite" because of similar themes and plot structure (standalone episodes) except with a high school setting and not as serious. First season just ended and I've read that there will be a S2. I particularly like the ED.

Natsume tops my Yiyashi-Anime list...
Feels like a 2 hour bath if you're feeling really tired, and out of it.
