i dunno, im plannin/hopin to take a trip and hike at the Red Centre
and was just abit curious, how many of u aussies actually been holidayin around australia?
doesnt include places like the gold coast.... u know... outbak australia

Not outback, but my family used to go on yearly trips to a place called Angourie. Fantastic, quiet beaches, secluded area, etc.
There's only one small general store there, and they serve chips and huge burgers and stuff like that for lunch. They have a sign that says "SLOW FOOD. You can't hurry perfection". If you want anything they don't have there, it's a fairly short trip to Yamba, where they (Used to, haven't been for a while) have a pub with a chef from a 5-star restaraunt.
My dad actually supplied the google earth picture for one of the beaches (Spookies)
