hi everyone,

The screenings for week 9 is as follows:

Monday: “Hana Yori Dango” drama screenings in Carslaw Tutorial Rm 356

Tuesday: “K-On!” and “07-Ghost”

Thursday: “Natsume Yuujinchou” and “Maria+Holic”

Note: If you happen to miss any of the screenings, you have the option to email me at screenings@suanime.org by the end of week 12 telling me which episodes you have missed. I will then provide you with information on how to catch up on the missed episodes.

Hope you all have a nice week.

cheers,

Jie Jack Xu

There will only be two days for screenings? D:

Also: Is it possible to vote without coming to O-week? I may not be there but want to.

hmmm....well you can send me an email of what you want to be screened and I'll add that to the vote. If you want to know the plot summaries of the series, then you'll need to find that out on your own if you don't plan on coming to O-week.

And yes, semester 1 will only have 2 days of screenings. Last yr we had too many screenings and attendance was poor overall. This year we plan to make room for other activities since SUanime is not all about screenings but other things too, such as art socials, karaoke, eat-outs, and other fun events.

Not quite sure I follow. The main reason for attendance was the overall failjob of the uni's timetabling system. You plan to have other events other than the screenings, I understand, but most of the activities you listed are out of uni times, such as the K+E, unless you plan to hold those during the lunchtime slot.

Good point...
Maybe we can at least see what attendance is like first and then axe a day if its too poor? At least 3 days? :C
(because you never know if the days you set for just two screenings turn out to be days that no one can attend)

What we did before was Monday, Tuesday and Thursday IIRC. If you go by that, you can offer one of two days for the Art Social as well.

Only 2 days? D: Man. I can go on Tuesday but Thursday's out. That's a shame... my timetable gives me 1-3pm free on Wednesday and now I don't have a screening to go to. X3

go to the art social on wednesday instead - 1 - 2pm at Chem lect rm3
.... and if it gets really quiet (doubt it though) you might be able to put something up on the screens -- need to ask the exec there though.  Undecided
