Star Trek had a point. Space... the Final Frontier. These are the continuing voyages of the starship Enterprise. Her ongoing mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life forms and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before. Its the whole premise for the TV series. And Star Trek had storyline. It had many storylines. Such as the whole Human/Vulcan relationship, the Klingon wars, the fight against the Borg, Data's struggle to become more human (and the consequences there of).

I never got into to Star Trek, and doubt I have the time to now either, whilst I did *like* bits and pieces of the Star Wars universe, so that gets my vote.

I'm a Star Wars fan of old, even used to read the expanded universe books, but since the recent movies failures, I've been getting more curious about other Sci-fi, mainly Doctor Who and Star Trek.

I consider Star Wars is superior, largely because the Expanded Universe novels are far better written and detailed. Episodes IV through VI were also very well done. Only Eps I through III were poorly done.
Star Trek has a good premise and concepts (Borg, etc) but I think the plot was hindered by the restrictions of it being a TV series. And ALL the movies sucked, except maybe the Khan one.

Star Wars. Definitely. If for no other reason than NJO: Traitor. And Mitt'hraw'nuruodo. And Vergere. And Jacen Solo. And Mara Jade. And I-Five. And.......you see where I'm going with this, ne?
