It had Cold-War/Arms Race metaphors, characters dealing with inadequacy and retirement, characters with inherent flaws, the blurring of lines between good and evil and everyone's favourite, Rape!
What wasn't deep enough for you exactly?
the fact that none of it was covered in depth....? plus, cramming all of those different aspects into one movie doesnt make it deep, but rather superficial imo
