its always about subs and the best of the best, well now we're going so damn low..
which are in ur opinion the worst dubs and why?
my pick would be Dragon Ball Z, not only for the crummy VAs, but most importantly the script changes they made... like Vegeta telling 90s american jokes and Krillian asking for hamburgers...

Steel Angel Kurumi - Whilst I dont condone watching the show in the first place, the english dub is absolutely god-awful.... cutesy japanese voices + a 'desu' character.... transposed into an uncaring, deep-ish english voice = absolute fail
same for kannazuki no miko - shoujo ai dubbing is such fail /facepalm

most anime dub are crappy. i mean, watch helsing dubbed. it sounded like they are reading off the manuscript and dont give a damn about it. its monotone and pokerface in audio. GITS also is poorly dubbed, batou sounds like he doesnt give a crap, lethargic and most probably be chewing his cud whist talking. its like watching a muscled up cow with an elephant gun.

mmm, its more like they grabbed a random bum from the side of the road to voice act in english for dope and going half now, half when u r done. whilst its most likely untrue it sure does sounded like thats the way they did it. i wish i can draw that moment in comic form to express my dissapointment. then again i do pray that they have done better things recently.

i didnt mind the full metal alchemist dub....
...but that was the first anime i ever watched and i was still newb. was totally like 'omg i dont want to read!'
i have the DVDs at home, but havent watched them again yet (too much to watch as it is T_T), so havent heard the jap voices to compare it with [although i spose i can when the 2nd series comes out]

Hey Code Geass DUBS are NOT BAD...
You have to admit that it's hard to revert from dubs to originals. If you watched and got hooked on the original voice acting then the dubs just don't work out. (Lulu just doesnt sound 'right' in the dubs)  |
