I was playing the Taiwan version when it first came out (I even stopped playing WoW). But now they locked out HK, I am waiting for the HK version to open.

There was a period shortly after they opened where they had a special Gatchapon machine where you can get ZZ Gundam, The O and Quebley (AS Class from memory) and people spend hundreds of HK dollars (1 or 2 hundred AUD) on point cards to get enough tokens to hope to win them (and some managed to get them), only to have the service close on them within a week. So there's a mass boycott of the HK version. Apparently they did this because the HK version was scared that all HK people would play their service pay money to the Taiwan version once they got settled.

Basically, the Taiwanese version now only has Taiwanese people (and some gwai lo who can still get in), with people locked out moving to the Mainland China version and haxxing Korean Social Security ID numbers to play the Korean version since they're ahead by a few patches - they have new AS Class MS like Sazabi, Nu Gundam, etc.

I doubt there'll be a global version, so play this while you can before they attempt to lock out everyone but Taiwanese people. But just be warned that they can attempt to IP lock at any stage because they have done it before and can do it again.

yes there has been numerous reports on the game wanting to ban all other IP other than TAiwan...
i guess its jz a matter of time before they even ban us... [in AU from playing]

They will ban all foreign IPs if there are clearly more foreign people playing than Taiwanese people due to the fact that foreign people won't buy point cards. It was unplayable when foreign people first got in, since all the servers/rooms were full; when they banned them we could get in again. But of course, after a few days we got banned too.
