yaay about time a manga thread xDDDDD

Skip Beat: I started watching the anime but got a little impatient so I moved onto the manga. It's such a great read and I think a lot funnier because Kyoko's murderous scenes in the animation kinda ruin the humor for me. I dunno, maybe I'm not easily amused. Plus the guys are so much more delicately drawn. Heeehee. Like Ren's sparkly smiles and the different faces he makes. So gorgeous ~ ;-;

After School Nightmare: Soooo good! >w<  It's like Homunculus and Battle Royale mixed into one. Students have to take this class that in the dream world they're supposed to kill each other off to find the 'key'. Once they find this key they will 'graduate' (i.e. disappear) but where does the door take them!?? *gasp* They take the forms of what they see themselves as so it has some psychological aspects to it. It has some gender-bender themes. I just finished reading one of the biggest romance twists and it's pretty violent the way they um.... part from each other, but so romantic at the same time. ;-; So I'm loving it. xDDD

1/2 Prince: I find myself laughing so hard when I read this. The style is really nicely drawn in a bishie way but the expressions make it really hilarious. It's about a game which is similar to World of Warcraft and it's virtual reality. The main girl actually becomes a super sexy elf swordsman in the game, forms a crew, goes around killing and leveling as well as capturing the hearts of a thousand fan girls. xDDD

AI WO UTAU YORI ORE NI OBORERO!: The biggest WTF manga for me.. ~___~ And I thought I was used to traps. This really screwed up with my head. It's still love between a guy and a girl but... they're just traps. And the boy is cuter and smaller than the girl, but still... dominant and wants to get into her pants. It doesn't make sense at all. >___<

EDIT: and how can I forget.. ~__~;;

WORST: A manga series all about delinquents!! Bwahahaahaha. The drawing style is fantastic and it gives so much personality to each character. School gang wars and bikies. You can't go wrong ;~; The series is known for having absolutely no women in it so there's no room for romance. Just friendship and fighting. Yahahaha. It's still great to read and you pretty much fall in love with everyone in the Hana-gumi. Fighting isn't epic like Dragon Ball or Bleach so there's a nice balance. Just raw fist power. Har har har.

I'm still reading them all cause I've caught up with the latest chapter. Now it takes forever to wait for the next translation release. >__>

Lucky Star Manga -> same as Anime don't recommend to buy... [ in chinese ]

Fate Stay Night [ in chinese ] (chinese ver. are faster)
Yea this is simply better than the anime which highlights the scenario of Unlimited Blade Works reedited.
Currently both Toshaka and Emiya are being striped of their command Mantras while still being targeted by caster.
The story line is quite good and really deserves a try. though the Rider part is still the same. But some minor changes.

Melty Blood [ in chinese ] (chinese ver. are faster)
Well, Tell story about shiki and Sion nothing special in particular. can say at some points simply boringgg.....

Tsukihime -> better than the anime, even shows Shiki Nanaya as in Nanaya if you understand what i mean =.=, Yea awesome [contains unsuitable elements for <18 years]

Code Geass : Counterattack of Suzaku.
Tells an alternate ending of Evil end of Schneizel...

Code Geass  R2: NOIR [ in chinese ]
Just a bunch of jokes of Code geass

Lawak Kampus [ Campus Jokes ] ( 秀逗高校 ) [ in chinese ] ( abit of lucky star elements but no Otaku-ism )
This is a malaysian made manga which quite drew attention to me which was extraordinarily mad.
with just 4 pictures can leave you to laugh for some time. [thats what i observed after watching my fren reading it (apparently he was going nuts =.=)]

After School Nightmare sounds interesting! i think ill add that to my list. ive heard about Tsukihime... my friend says the anime is good, but if the manga is better i think ill just go straight to the manga

Kekkaishi: just read the latest chapter and its getting pretty good! i love the whole concept of gods and ayakashis they focused on. the current arc is pretty crazy and i like where its going... just the comedy/romance stuff has lessened =( but all part of the story which is getting pretty good Cheesy

Worst sounds interesting. reminds of something like Gokusen, friendship fighting and springtime-of-youth-running towards the sunset of tomorow *V6 - Feel Your Breeze plays* haha

LOL mithril you soldier!!! i bow down to your dedication :*) (manly tears lol)

Girl Friends: OMG high school yuri romance ftw! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy caught up on 2 more chapters and luvin it! pure hearted with no overdramatic/emo relationships of sorts, and i hope they keep it that way. well written imo as it brings out that empathy in you, and i just LOVE 'forbidden fruit' stories XD ohH and it has an alrite insight on high school girly fashion, makeup, accessories, trends etc. i can wear Anna Sui Dreams perfume with no hesitation because they mention how Anna Sui is popular haha XD

woow i didnt know skip beat was that popular actually O___O;;
even with guys

i remember reading all of Hana Yori Dango in two days... all 240 chapters ~____~
when i woke up i didnt have the energy left to eat
and i had a bruise on my elbow.. where i rested my arm to click the mouse

but now i kinda understand how that guy must have felt when he died playing WoW
it's like you're possessed.. and nothing else matters in this world.. >___<

it happens to me every time i start Berserk.. actually
i get possessed i tell you! ;-;

lol possessed...sounds like a way to describe it. well the only reason I did it coz when I tried to watch an anime or study i just kept getting bored, and I didn't have anything else to do coz my internet was capped. Well at least now i'm up to date with another manga series. The last time I did this was with Naruto and Bleach, started from 1 till the latest chapter at that time, which was a hell lot as well, ended up feeling blur the next day...

After so much reading, I still have a bunch of stuff which is taking up space in my hd which I haven't even opened..
there just isn't enough hours in a day to watch and read that many series...

well.. skip beat would be popular with guys... i don't think it only targets girls with all those sparkling guys like ren and sho... it still has kyoko and Moko moments which makes it pretty enjoyable. And it's all about acting *and it does seem to teach you the basics of acting... problem is not everyone can follow something like that*.

I suppose i'm a big fan of skip beat... XD

wooow really....... i thought it was targeted for girls hahaa XDD
cause none of the girls are busty and they dont have much sex appeal imo
but yeah it's a pretty good read so i can see some guys getting hooked to the drama
it's like the revenge/makeover thing that every girl loves to see
we're all waiting for the moment that kyoko truly blows sho away and makes it big, etc, etc xDD

well i caught up with the releases for Skip Beat a while ago and the chapters come out monthly
it's quite frustrating to read actually because nothing really happens in one chapter ~_____~;;
its super short and more like Kyoko gets from point A to point B, the end

bwahaha i know how you feel mithril xDDD
i wish there were more hours in a day
I'd like to catch up with Naruto and Bleach one day.. i dunno if that will ever happen actually .___.

meh...

but if they were intending to target only girls, i think they failed xD... in my opinion anyways...

but i think it's pretty awesome to watch for me... I really think kyoko is cute the way she is... even though she has disturbing ideals about revenge lol xD

LOL i like kyoko's voice wen shes on evil mode XDDD so evil yet amusing haha
