Anime Yasei no Sakebi (アニメ野性のさけび Anime Cry of Wildness)

Hi, im ian. i don't go to uni or anything i'm just looking for anime series and live in sydney.

i'm looking for a series called Anime Yasei no Sakebi (アニメ野性のさけび Anime Cry of Wildness) based on Jack London's novel "call of the wild".
All i know about the series is that it was made by Wako productions of Japan? thats what wikipedia had to say about it on the page about jack london's novel.

i know its dumb, but i couldn't find out much about how to get it on google and i don't really know where to buy anime in sydney. So i was wondering if anyone
could help me find it or tell me how to order it. any information or help would be great

have you checked at JB HIFI yet?

they tend to have like EVERYTHING including anime listing.

if they don't have it, u can always ask them and check whether if they can get their hands on it.

cool thank. i didn't think of that. ah one other thing will it be listed on their system in english or in japanese? and HTF do i pronounce it?

well, bring the jap transilation and the english transilation along. i'm not so sure as well. YOu can always check ANN for the english name rather than pronouncing the japanese name.

as for what would be in their system, it'd be most likely english. The DVDs will most likely be only Jap Dub Eng Sub.

I'm sorry to say, but this is a fruitless search. No store in Sydney would stock this anime. This anime is a fairly obscure anime (evidenced by the fact that this is the first time I heard of it), which yielded no results in Japanese Wiki and is out of print as far as I know, the only results being VHS tapes in Amazon Japan and some libraries in Japan. Even if you were to try to obtain it, it would be completely in Japanese. If you are looking for adaptations of The Call of the Wild, you would be best served elsewhere.

My guess is it'd be hell hard to find this anime - as Randalll said, all I can find are VHS of it (not surprising, considering its a '82 anime), and those were hard to find as it was.
Furthermore, there havent been any fansubs of it either.... so I'm not sure... :/
