A Night in Fantasia returns in 2009 – bigger, bolder and more spectacular than ever!

Are you ready for the most sensational Eminence concert to date? The ‘A Night in Fantasia’ concert series has been recognised around the world as the most popular brand of video game / anime concerts, so you will be pleased to hear that The Eminence Symphony Orchestra is warming up to present ‘A Night in Fantasia 2009’ at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on Saturday 26 September, 2009.

Featuring a full Symphony Orchestra, a mind blowing choir, special guest performers and boasting a score of popular tracks from the worlds of video games and anime, ‘A Night in Fantasia 2009’ is being billed as the biggest, boldest and best concert in the ‘A Night in Fantasia’ series to ever be held.

A Night in Fantasia 2009 will feature a host of special guest stars who will fly in from the USA and Japan specially to be involved in this epic event.

Wataru Hokoyama (AFRIKA and Resident Evil 5), Go Shiina (Tales of Legendia and Tekken: Dark Resurrection), Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Chross and Xenosaga) and Kow Otani (Godzilla series, Shadow of the Colossus) have been confirmed to appear as guests of honour at A Night in Fantasia 2009.

Chiaki Takahashi, singer for Idolm@ster who is also known for her work with Aice5 and her roles in ‘Rumbling Hearts’, ‘School Days’ and ‘Futakoi’ will appear as a special guest performer. Chiaki, who is also an actress and model, is sure to set hearts pounding when she hits the stage.

Steve Jablonsky, composer of the musical score for Transformers 2 the movie, Inon Zur (Crysis, Prince of Persia and Fallout 3) and Cris Velasco (Starcraft II and God of War) will also appear as special guests of honour at A Night in Fantasia 2009.

Audrey Ashburn, who is recognised for her beautiful voice, as shown in her debut song ‘Around the Door’, will take to the stage to sing for the audience.

Not only will these special guests attend the concert to address the audience, they will also spend time meeting with the audience, signing autographs and talking about their music – something not done at previous concerts.

The concert will feature a score of arrangements - many of them as originally done by the composers – spanning the games and anime genres, with a focus on western music not before seen in the ‘A Night in Fantasia’ series.

The score of tracks to be performed include AFRIKA, Ace Combat V, Darksiders: Wrath of War, Metal Gear Solid, Prince of Persia, Red Alert 3, Shadow of the Colossus and a wide range of anime titles, including Astro Boy (which will hit cinemas in September), Studio Ghibli, Totoro, Laputa, Princess Mononoke, Deathnote, Steamboy and many, many more…

Random note: But instead of buying tickets to go there, you can win them by listening to 2day fm... Like seriously! I heard it from 2day fm that they got tickets of A Night in Fantasia O.o

Strange cause I never thought they would promote things like this...

They're really pushing this one. Its the biggest Night in Fantasia I remember, so justifiably they're getting marketing from everywhere they can. I think I even saw some stuff about it at my workplace.

Where was it held in the past? Is the price still the same now as it was then now that they've changed locations?
