Culture studies? there is a course like that i think, or was it foreign studies? don't remember but profesionally i have no idea what these grads do. you'll have to wait for someone who actually does a course like this to reply.

Hey man  :],

err here's what I brainstormed:

  • English/Jap teaching
  • Diplomat
  • Journalism
  • Photography
  • Music?
  • Travel industry
  • Japanese product distributor: music, books, movies, food

(I'm sorry Sad)
I think journalism is your best bet, since it covers a broad range of material. You need to write well though : /

If you're looking for short-term jobs, http://www.boobooski.com can help you with setting up an internship to japanese winter/summer resorts.
*I'm thinking of doing it next year >_<

Good luck with your decision : D

Also depends on what you're studying.

There's heaps of opportunities in business as well. You can always work for a Japanese company or deal with clients from Japan.

You can also start your own business. Haha. Restaurant, clothes, etc, etc...
