What is an AGM?A.G.M. = Annual General Meeting. it is a yearly meeting required open to all members of anime@uts where we go over the club's performance and vote in the exec team.
What positions in the exec team are there?- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Events Coordinator
- Art Director
- Web Master Mekky will ALWAYS be the webmistress
- Screenings Director
- Photographer
What is the requirement to be an exec member?The main requirement to becoming a member of the team at Anime@UTS is simply to be available to help out the club. this may or may not include time to help with convention preparation, running screenings or simply being able to make meetings. However if you wish to apply for the position of President, Vice-President, Treasurer or secretary, it is preferred that you have some knowledge in the club's running's and/or experience in that area. (eg: 1337 speeling & grammer skills for secretary, experience in handling money/accounts for treasurer).
(TLDR: if you have the skills required for that position we want you!)Once determined to be an exec member, just attend the A.G.M. and express your interest in being in that position.
What is the requirement to vote in an exec member?To be eligible to vote in a member of the exec team it is required that you are a member of Anime@UTS (card may be required). Members from other clubs are welcome to attend but cannot vote.
What is the voting process?- Express interest in being an exec
- Say a little about yourself, and your interest in the club (if there's more than 1 person running for that position)
- you wait outside while we discuss the candidates and vote
- you then return to the room to find out the decision
