First off, let me be one of the few actually from uts to welcome you to the forums!
In terms of anime@uts's experience as a whole in mecha building we do not do it in such a grand scale as to UNSW, however we do have a few members who are like yourself take up the hobby in quite a strong effort as well as maintaining it as a common event in our semester's activities. (if you see art jam and im attending you are likely to get mecha building
)
In terms of kit building and models in general, i'm quite a novice in this regards however i have just started collecting figures themselves as a hobby and looking towards possibly making Gundams/Macross/Eva (the last 2 more particular). In past
art jams however i have gone with other people to go buy models to try to build.
In a months time we are planning to hold a chillout event (relevant post/details to come) were we will be making mecha. Which you are more than welcome to attend and meet everyone!
My next project in terms of this is to probly buy ozma's VF though i am still debating on a model kit. that is if i want the
super or
not, if you have any thoughts to this i would appreciate it!!
