anime@uts in 2010

So with the end of 2009 also comes the end of an era, with us saying goodbye to a few long serving executives (jyrds, Jay & mekky). But that also means that we have a fairly new executive team! We want to be the very best, like no one ever was. Over the last few months we've been hard at work getting ready for the new year. Any of those rumours about us playing games, drinking and excessively sleeping are entirely untrue!

*ahem*

During the holidays, we've had some brainstorming sessions and laid out some plans for the new year. Of course, these meetings happened over karaoke and japanese food, so no one really wrote anything down. But recalling from memory, here's a few things we'd agreed upon:
  • New Website - which includes a new anime@uts blog!
  • New Weekly Events - such as dinner nights and theme nights (Maybe a boku no pico night just for Seakas)
  • More merch
  • More eatouts!

At least some of us are working...

The AnimeSydney Card will also be returning this year, which will give you discounts at a variety of places like Passionflower and Norita!

If you don't want to fall behind on the happenings of the anime club, come join us on IRC, join our Facebook page or follow our Twitter account (which I promise I'll update more). Also, if you're a newbie just about to start Uni, UTS's Oday is on the 24th of February, so come by and join us at our stall!

Does the new weekly events involve raiding?  I look forward to your WoW screenings.
