yes i guess u are right there... I can amend the rules too
but then again, AMVs don't necessarily have to just be songs... they can also be sound files from movie scenes and etc.
don't worry, i'll amend the rules in that case.

Rule 1 has been amended to a minimum of 30secs and a maximum of 3mins is allowed for the AMV competition. Please be aware of this.
Additionally, there may be more theme genres included.

it took Chuck Norris 20 minutes to watch 60 minutes... so ask him ;D
you can use anime opening style of 1:30 clip. and you can always make a remix of songs to fit 3 minutes, so get creative! >;D

i can overlook the fact that the song my be over 3 mins. i'll reword around 3 mins... i don't want a mega long 10 min AMV after all so i wanted to make sure that all AMV are around 3 mins.

aim at least 30 secs... but i won't mind if it is 25 ish or so under as well... and same applies to the 3 min mark, if it is slightly above 3mins, that's fine too.
the rule is just applied so i have enough time to cut the clips to compile them together

just re-bumping this thread up for semester 2!!! Reason being that the competition is still open to everyone in case people just forgot about it xD been looking around at some pretty good AMVs online and stumbled on this little haruhi suzumiya AMV, which is really amazing! Music is Candy Pop by Heartsdale feat Soulz'd. Just posting this to give members who are planning to participate in the AMV competition which ends in october!!!
