Description:
In the year 2010 of the Common Era, the Holy Empire of Anime invaded UTS. The small tower university had no chance against Anime, which was the world's last remaining superpower. Despite its lack of natural resources, UTS had adopted a stance of cultural isolation. In order to take the tower, the Anime forces mobilised the first of the Otaku Frames; a new kind of fanboy/fangirl powered armour. Their abilities exceeded expectations and the UTS defences fell one after another before the might of Project Desu. UTS became a territory of the Empire and was stripped of its freedom, rights and even its name...

That designation was the new name given to the defeated university.

Are you a new member of anime@uts or looking to be a member? Then this is for you!

Starting university can be hectic, confusing, chaotic, rapid, fast and confusing. So why not take a break from rush and come to UTS's Annual Orientation Picnic! In the lush green of Victoria Park, come spend a lazy summer day with other members of the anime club. You can meet new people (old and new members alike), play ball games (watch out for the pond) and board games, or just have some light conversation in the shade of a big tree. Either way, come have a good time and make the first part of university a memorable one.

Note: In the event of rain (or the park being unsuitable for recreational activities) the Picnic will be held within the UTS Tower building at Concourse (where the couches are)
