be sure to bring extra money since places in the city tend to be pricey, and our exec team seem to like their good food. Im sure the team is nice enough to give us free shouts once in a while, if we're lacking the funds  Grin

although im not an exec
uh........ no i dont think so
execs are like any other student, just as broke as you and me XDDD

If this is for the club, and so long as anyone don't rage at me, i'm willing to go anywhere to any dinner!

For art session dinners, I usually try to target a price of $10 for a meal, not including drinks. Occasionally this can stretch to $15 dollars per meal, depending on who is going and what they feel like.

With that kind of target, our eating options are very restricted. The only restaurants besides fast food chains that serve food at those prices tends to be Japanese or Korean restaurants.

The other issue is popularity of the restaurant - generally we are doomed to go to slightly unpopular restaurants because its extremely difficult getting a table for around 8 people without booking at a restaurant on any given night.

I would really love to go to all sorts of restaurants (I think people familiar with me know how much I love eating lol) but trying to stick with these parameters makes it hard. The idea is though, that the more accessible we can make the dinners, the more people will come - and there is nothing quite like a group of people just eating out and having fun.

That said, if anyone can think of any restaurants that we haven't been to, that are good, cheap and relatively uncrowded (or at least uncrowded enough for us to make a booking 30 mins prior to this) please suggest them. I'm always on the hunt for new restaurants.

These days, meals are at least $10 at restaurants lately.
Also, on Mondays or Tuesdays some restaurants don't open on those days.
I do believe it would be a nice change to go to other restaurants that are like Mediterranean, Cosmopolitan or Western.

@that_guy - Have you ever been to a Teppanyaki restaurant? There one called "I Chi Ban Japanese Teppan-yaki BBQ Restaurant" and the prices are around $13-$19.

Can you recall Edwin?

it was decent if you go and order a bunch of dishes as a group and each order rice to go with it. its about 10-15 bucks a dish which is fair and its quite decent for what seems like not much. their moroccan lamb was beautiful. i think the seafood stuff are on the higher end but still between 18-25 bucks which is a bit pricey but its still worth it imo.

Stop growing so fast!!! a hippie might mistake you for a weed, roll you up, set your front on fire and start sucking on your rear end.

Will there be a chance that we can go to lebanese restaurants? I heard that they have a party pack for at least 25 bucks. Now that's worth it for our entourage

mmMm i heard lebanese restaurants is top stuff Grin we could probably do something in the upcoming holidays perhaps

so the theme for this week is magical girl or magical boy... i had some awesome ideas (as usual, and all pg rated of course) but could only get as far as thinking about them and not putting onto paper Cheesy i got a few tips from Samuel and stick to the basics of what is known as 'magical'. so apart from magical staff, flailing long ribbons, stars and magic-attack names what else is basic?

i think your on about the gaming session, we have the CATS room for 2 hours then the rest migrates to the library or so.
Though for the arts session during the last hour half hour we gotta keep it down since theres class next door and believe me the art session was pretty dam loud and crazy lol XD
