Does anyone here read fanfiction? and if so can they please recommend some good stories they've read.

I've read a fair amount of fanfic. There is a lot of crap out there, but also a lot of good stuff. If you want people to rec you things, it might help to know what fandoms you're into. :]

hmmm well i watch mostly shonen anime and most of the fanfics i read come from naruto since its one of the more popular ones but i'll read fics from any series if theyre good. Personally i only read fics with het pairings and i don't like harem stories. But i do enjoy a good AU fic, that is proper AU not the AU fics where they lose all the powers and go to highschool. I don't really like OC's because theyre usually poorly done and my favourite type of fic would probly be time travel. But since this is a forum people should just recommend whatever they think is good with a brief description. that way the thread can benfit anyone interested in fan fics.

As an example i recommend the fic "It's for a good cause i swear" by Sarah1281. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5409165/1/Its_For_a_Good_Cause_I_Swear
It's a humorous story about team 7 travelling back in time after the end of the series just for fun and to see if they can't slightly improve things from the way they happened the first time around. It's complete and very well written. It's a Naruto fanfic.

I actually write fanfictions myself, but they are all united in one scrambled up story.

Yeah sure while i can't write out all the recommendations for fics here if you go to fanfiction.net and search for LordOfMurder you can look through my favourite stories section. All of those should be at least readable fics. Also tvtropes.org has a fanfic recommendations section which contains some good fics. If you find any good ones be sure to post a link and description here so others can find and read them as well.

Hmm, are you looking for recommendations specifically from Naruto or fandoms in general?
(I can't help you with Naruto, although i am an avid reader in other fandoms)

And what restrictions are you imposing on recommended fanfics? Ratings, genre type, pairings...etc?

I'm mostly just looking for recommendations from fandoms in general not from any specific fandom. I'd prefer if there not be an yaoi pairings but other than that i'm open to all fanfic recommendations.
