In case you haven't been getting them in your email here it is. Minus the html format coolness =(

A new week has dawned...

Have you been to screenings?  Have you been to Art Socials?  Go ahead and try it out if you have not!  Nothing will change in terms of our Screenings and Art Socials, so come right along if you have the time.

Reminder: Mini-Animania is THIS SATURDAY.  Scroll down for more information.  A BBQ will be held on Week 5.

Also, if you have any random bits and pieces - amvs, trailers, mini-episodes, parodies, etc - for the random social fun in the first half of our Tuesday and Wednesday screenings; bring them along or send the url link to Joseph our screenings director at screenings@suanime.org. Only appropriate material for public viewing will be accepted.

And keep an eye out on our website for updates - we have competitions and a possible mini-Animania after party planned for you too. =)

A chibi message for you

Interested in helping out the club?

Thinking about becoming an exec next year?

Just want random things to add to your resume?

Personnel Director Ben is looking for people to help out with the running of the club. If this is you, e-mail him today at personnel@suanime.org. (If you have already done so then no need to do it again).

Mini-Animania 2010

Do not forget, everyone, that Mini-Animania is THIS SATURDAY.  The location is Australia Technology Park, not too far from USydney!  We, SUAnime, will be there as well, so drop by and say hello if you are going! And keep an eye out on our website for information of a possible after party!

When: Saturday 20th March 2010 (Week 3)

Time: Gates open around 10AM, and wraps up at 4PM.

Where: Australia Technology Park, Eveleigh (Just next door to USyd!)

Price:   Advance Sales Prices (Online): Adult= $26.50  Child= $16.50

At the door: Adult= $25.00  Child= $15.00

Why is Advance tickets more expensive? It helps you avoid the queues at the door on the day.  Otherwise, you might have to either arrive at 6AM or standby in line for some hours.

I have a question. :] I know SUAnime doesn't show licensed stuff at the screenings, but I was wondering what your definition of "licensed" was. Licensed anywhere, or just in Australia? I ask because BakaTest was picked up by Funimation a couple of weeks ago.

If it does get licensed in Australia, we will ask permission from Madman directly and confirm with them. yep
