Hey there, just a little question I was just wondering what anime/manga/jap stuff/sci-fi/anything else conventions there are in sydney during the year? The only ones I know about are Smash, supanova and animania... anymore? Thanks xD There was one that was the next day after MiniAnimania in TownHall, but I forgot what it was called. And I think there was another convention/festival in Abbotfords, but don't take my word for it just in case I'm wrong Yeah when are all the conventions and stuff on. Because i'm from the country i've never been to one before.
Dates of conventions varies every year, but they're always most likely to be on a weekend. Current conventions that are coming up are: SMASH - 7th August Animania - 11th and 12th of September You can look them up on google for more information.

Gogo fun-fact! A guy who claims to "run" the Armageddon expo came into my work a week ago. Cool guy, he came for food after watching the new Doctor Who episode, so we had a chat about that. But yeah! =D

attend SMASH!, you won't regret it His biased opinion. Now actually I would also recommend attending SMASH. Of all the conventions I've been to smash is probably the best. Followed by supernova if you are into that kind of stuff. Animania is.....

Its usually not open at this time of day. SMASH is always enjoyable and now that its at Town Hall, its easier to get there. Supernova should be exciting as well. Can you bring food in there?

It wouldn't be SMASH if you can't bring food. I'm sure there's some food stalls too. Dango Dango Dango <- Drooling out of my eyes..... o_O
